HONDATA Complete APP First Impressions

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hondata just released a new Application for IOS and Android that works very much like the upcoming Honda Racing app that can be used in the newer 2020 and 2021 Honda Civic Type R's. Today we take a first look at the new app and give you my first impressions.

Great video! What’s going on with your ethanol content. Are you running a different fuel system? Thanks :)

  • @GridZilla

Nope stock fuel system. Just tuner dependent on whether you can run higher percentage or not. No matter what, even on a custom tune I haven’t seen anything above 40% ethanol to be reliable.

I didn’t realize hondata complete was an official hondata app. When looking at the OG hondata app it says “official hondata app” and Hondata Complete is listed as being developed by a single person. But for all I know, that person is the lead dev for hondata lol

@@GridZilla Only reason I was searching for videos about it is cuz I got something going on with my h22 in the ollll prelude and I have never used the app to diagnose issues. I have the android app on my head unit but it was buggy to the point of being unusable. But the last time I used it was years ago now so maybe the OG one is working well now. In any case, I got Hondata Complete anyway

3:20 You can go into your phone settings and select the hondata app and turn Bluetooth off from there. Anyway, I have a 2009 Honda Civic Sedan and every time I unplug the flashpro from the OBD2 port it stops projecting any results on the app gauges. Do I have to have it plugged in every time I want to open the app? App cost 14.99 now :/
