Hello, i think i saw you mention this in an earlier comment but i just wanted to get clarity. You said the app runs off of bluetooth. But there was mention of the usb cable. So, say i purchased an adapter for the charging port on an apple or android tablet to convert to usb. Will the app run and opperate in real time if the usb cable that plugs into the ecu is then plugged into that adapter, allowing for charging of the tablet AND data tranfer to the app? I do have a v4 but would much rather hardline it in if this is possible. Thanks in advance!

Does anyone have an idea how accurate the hp and torque readings are through the mobile app? Or how they are calculated? I believe that it's possible that the torque is coming directly from the ecu, yet it has no presence that I can find within flashpro manager or datalogs.

Does the USB cable charge the iPad? I am looking to add this to my endurance race car. We do 6-10 hour races.

Yes I have a USB cable connected and goes into the lighter slot for charging

Can you make the rpm gauge larger than the mph gauge when you’re in the Racetrac setting? Doesn’t make sense why the mph is bigger

Can this work with flashpro? I have hondata for my 2012 civic si 9th gen, and id love to get the app just to monitor air / fuel

Yes will work with flashpro as long as the flashpro is a Bluetooth version

Hey brother is this the OG official Hondata app? I have the hondata app on my android head unit and the last time I used it, it was buggy to the point of being unusable. I haven’t tried installing the app on my iPhone, but it seems much more in depth than the app on my head unit. I’m also seeing there is the “Hondata Complete” app that actually costs 3x as much as the official app, and it seems to be developed by a third party. My h22a is acting up pretty bad at the moment so I’m gonna try the app on my phone to see if I can get any codes

Yes this is the OG app iv noticed that there is a new app, but i cant vouch for that one. The issues you are having might not be with the app itself but more about the unit you are using. When i was using the first gen ipad in this video i didn’t have any issues I would suggest using your phone for now

@@Redlineracinggarage I ended up getting the hondata complete app and it worked perfectly on my phone. I’d imagine the original hondata app would work fine on my phone as well 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Does the tablet have to be connected to the Internet to work? Or does it just connect off the ecu and the app will run without Internet?

Hondata will not work with any ecu chip but there are apps that do support a OBD2 chip for onscreen monitoring

Do you have any issues with it freezing or disconnecting randomly ?

Hii I know your connected via Bluetooth but it’s there a way to connect directly to the ecu? With the wire? Because I heard with Bluetooth there is sort of a delay

Yes, well to actually get full access to your kpro ecu you need to connect a USB to a laptop and enter from there. The Bluetooth is only for minor adjustments but mostly just to monitor your ecu Try to plug a USB to your laptop go into settings and this way you can see exactly what version of hondata you have, if its the Bluetooth version or not

On the race app, how do you change the gauges?

Nono i did explain a little about how my ipad was mounted. But mostly about how the app works. I got the car with the ipad already so i have no idea where the pervious owner got it from

So is this connected via USB? Or is it Bluetooth and using the cable for charging

@@Redlineracinggarage How did you get the bluetooth to work? I can not get it to work for the life of me. I have used Kmanager and enabled bluetooth on the ECU but whenever I try to connect my phone it does not work.

@@Redlineracinggarage Yes it is. I have the Kpro for the 2005-2006 RSX. Bluetooth is listed as a feature on their website but I can not get it to work

@@motortopia6009 try turning off the ipad then keep trying to connect sometimes it takes a while Also go to your Bluetooth settings on your ipad and make sure that its on Discoverable setting to find the hondata
