i just had to replace my thermostat.. in the video he used a 10mm wrench, i used a long socket and it worked better for me if anyone has trouble with it

I bought the exact same thermostat from rock auto. I noticed in the video that you did not use the new gasket that came with the new thermostat. I also could not use the new gasket because it is the wrong gasket. There is not a small notch at the top of the new one to fit into the house correctly . I had to use the old gasket just like you did.

Always get separate genuine gaskets or o-rings for this (or really any) car. The aftermarket options for this car are laughable at best. Even OE stuff is questionable these days. I had to redo a thermostat job on my Benz because the OE Borg Warner thermostat's supplied gasket was too thin.
Those needle nose pliers that are bent funny those are spark plug wire pliers they’re not for hose clamps but if they work use them lol. ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸
This video did not work for my 08 Accord V6. Throttle body needs to come off, there’s no way to get the rear housing bolt out without removing parts. I have little mechanical knowledge so now the car is going to our shop. Be careful trying this if you aren’t experienced.
