I'm trying to get all of this started on my talon. I ordered the xtc busbar key on kit. I also want to do dual batteries and the aux beam. I noticed the aux beam has a key on power but I don't know how to do key on without the xtc. I guess I'm asking what all do I need to do this without the fuse box you have amd do I need the xtc key on kit of I buy the Aux beam? Thank you so much for your help

The key on kit, is nice for like USB ports and things like that. The auxbeam is for bigger things like lights etc. So you would hook the auxbeam key power, to your xtc.

So, since you've installed the system is there any changes, issues or things you would do differently if given the opportunity? I have a 2021 Talon R SE and looking to install a dual battery and a clean system for wiring, ie; auxbeam or something else called custom wire kits? Thank you in advance and I may have more qstns for you when doing install, if ok?

anyone know what odyssey battery is use to replace the STOCK original battery?

When you wired the dual volt meter with the blue and green wire, which connectors did you put the wires on in the back of the volt meter? Also, which is for the ground on the back of the volt meter?

I used the true isolator kit. So the meter was marked, the ground goes through a relay.

Why do you have the Auxbeam AND a Fuse Box ?

The fuse block, is only for low draw things. Like my USB ports , led console light etc.

The battery tray, is from elite SxS engineering , and I used the true isolator kit. Super easy install, and works great.

So to be clear, the way you have it hooked up the 2nd battery is only charging, everything else is coming off the Talon battery.

No everything but the winch, is coming off the second battery.

@@DualSportGuy The cable going to your fuse box should be coming between the second battery terminal and the isolator not after the isolator otherwise it takes battery power from the main battery.

@@dukat03 in reality both batteries are being used by the machine. All the dual battery setup does, is give you longer power.
