Love the ammo can side panniers, really in keeping with bikes aesthetics

My Rebel 500 is currently @ 65,000 miles, with the basic service, chain, sprocket and tires. Make some fire road videos.

Thank you for taking the time to do this video, really useful and some brilliant ideas. Are you looking at putting a sump guard/bash plate on? I am thinking of getting one but that is one of my concerns. I am not looking to do hard core off road, just some gravel roads and light off road for fun but a little concerned about the pipes and sump being unprotected. Any views you have as an owner and or suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks. The tires are good on the road. I have done hour plus drives, to get to an off road area, on them. I do feel a little vibration from them in the handle bars, but not bad and very manageable.

Thank so much for doing this. All the mods are super tasteful and rlly turn it into more of a scrambler. Do u recall which mounting bracket and bag u have for the left side?

That bracket and mount is the OEM Honda specifically for the SCL500. Any idea what the ammo can brackets are called? Also, great to know the main frame is the same as a rebel. Awesome bike!

Do you have any tips/ideas how to put a similar side bag on the right side? I would like to use a bag instead of a case to be more simetric.

II believe that was one of the first mods i did and was very easy.

I have a section of soft sand to get to the beach - would those tyres work in soft sand?

Hello sir, is the clutch really that lightgoing? My screwed up handjpont can only handle really light pressure. Thank and greetings from germany. Btw: you live in a cool place, those mountains are beautiful.

It is a pretty nice area, I came here 30 years ago for a two month visit and have been here ever since. 😂 Of the 5 motorcycles I have owned, it is the easiest and lightest clutch I have used. Be sure to check the link for the adjustable clutch I installed,

I was really looking for a scrambler / café racer style motorcycle. Also I had previously had a VStrom 650 and wanted a lower seat height.

will you be adding fog lights or aux lights?
