What a joy! The fact that you were able to drive it that hard really proves just how good it must have been set up.
Great driving Zygrene!
Nice video, intense drive. Much respect to the S2K.
This vid put a massive smile on my face :)
Awesome run man👍🏼
Your welcome for the funnel use. Another great video!. I’m now subscribed.
love it. you really make me want a setup S2000
Lots of passing, very cool. Shows you what the AP1 is capable of.
Wow nice setup!
Superfast track s2k wow!!! Great job!
Awesome driving and car
I need you to drive my car on track now lol I need a professional comparison haha. But once again great video makes me want to be out there
Lmao the Peppa pig on the ceiling
Awesome content
This was the best motor honda ever made, sounds amaing too
Incredible!
I was in the black BMW 4:30, your s2000 and a few others are insanely fast....chasing after my ass all the time. :)
Thumbs up to your on-track reviews. Much better than Chris Harris' hyperventilating and watch how good I drift reviews.

Sakebomb Front and Rear BBK, that RX8 rear 😀
The way you caught those slides is enough to see how the car rotates in corners while still being super predictable.

@Lian Dario Lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
You should get a footwell camera!
Have you ever tried riding bikes? I used to race AFM at Thunderhill and I think you'd enjoy it quite a bit. For far less than what you put into a track built car, you can go quite a bit faster on a bike. The skills you've developed and mindset transfer over nicely as well!
@rotorblade9508
Жыл бұрын
it’s cheaper to go fast with a bike but maybe it’s good to practice your car driving skills otherwise you will lose them
Man you’re awesome 👏
I regret that I have but one like to give.
That’s nice!
Been slowly trying to copy Jeff's car too. Well kinda only got JRZs two ways, next on my list is the Sphericals and spoon rigid collars.
My Civic is fast but I miss tracking an FR. I think I"m just a rwd guy at the end of the day. AP1 or 111R next perhaps. Makes going JRZ seem worth the money here.
Damn, son!
Amazing run. Correct me if I’m wrong, but compared to your videos of you driving your S2K it looked like this car was “easier” to drive with less mid corner steering corrections. It looked so stable.
@Zygrene
5 жыл бұрын
Exactly right. This car is a lot more stable on corner entry/exit, and when it does slide, it is easier to catch.
@Under9Kadventures
5 жыл бұрын
Zygrene do you think the spherical bushings alone would really help make it easier to catch/control the slide. I have coilovers now, given not even close to that high end of a setup but always wondered if the spherical bushings are worth the price.
I drove a couple Cars last weekend too, one being an R Type, did you drive Anthony's too?
looks like there is a lot of work on preparing the car to be that quick, but it’s worth it
Jeff's car is fasssstttt. wooped me in my nsx. haha.
Damn that car seems fast
What's the major difference between the factory lsd and the ATS? Like, are you able to get on the throttle sooner coming out of corners? Is it more stable upon corner entry during trail braking? What's the service life like? Type of oil used and how frequently is it changed? Btw, your excitement for the ats lsd nearly has me sold on it 😁
@Zygrene
5 жыл бұрын
Definitely can get on the throttle earlier on exit, and when the tail starts to slide it's also a lot more controllable by modulating the throttle. With the factory LSD I can feel the inside tire slipping when I'm aggressive on corner exit, especially 2nd gear corners. No idea on service life haha.
@ayowser01
4 жыл бұрын
@@Zygrene It seems that the only downside to this lsd is oil change intervals being ~2-3k miles. Do you happen to know if this car has an increased capacity cover? I believe you can get away with longer intervals between oil changes, as well as cooler opetating temps with one. Now all I need is the 3-way JRZ setup... 😀
Do you know what sway bars he’s running?
This video makes me want JRZ and lsd...

Depends on the car and the weather. I've hotlapped my S2000 with completely stock cooling in 100F weather with no issues. But then again, I don't have an oil temp gauge.

Is that LSD a 1.5 or a 2 way? Wonder how ATS compares to OS Giken
@jsl757
5 жыл бұрын
Shadowboost ATS is 1.5 way. I have a OS giken in my nsx and the osg grips harder but also chatters under low speed cornering (even though the plates are wpc coated).
@Shadowboost
5 жыл бұрын
@@jsl757 Interesting, so the ATS might be a better street/track compromise?
@jsl757
5 жыл бұрын
Shadowboost yes but since my car is track only, I can't say for sure if it chatters I.e. I only encounter chattering from the osg when making a right turn from a stop. I never duplicate that scenario in the s2k.
Dude! Your seat belt is not properly adjusted. The latches should be at/below your belly button; not above it. Serious internal or hip could occur for improperly worn belt.
i wouldnt say its "fully gutted" when it still has door panels and a dash
Is it a 2 way lsd? 1.5?

Lol I still look at this video. It's a great S2k. What car would you compare this S2k to in a track? Example Lotus Exige S, Civic Type R, M4, ATS-V, GT-R. Of course most of these cars on a straight would take it but handling wise. I have a N/A stroker kit S2k 287whp 209 lbs. Now I'm gonna work on dropping weight, suspension and, drivetrain
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this car at chewerks

Very well pedalled However, Final drive shorter in an AP2? Nope. AP1 and 2 are 4.1. Gearboxes are subtly different though. 1-5 shorter and 6th taller.
