I’d also pick Ridgeline for its reliability. Santa Cruze base price for a city truck seems like excellent value for money.
I just pick up a 2024 Diffused Sky Blue Pearl Ridgeline this month. Loving it!

@@kevinteran5624 get the optional BLACK inserts RIDGELINE on tailgate. LOOKS awsome and get the black HONDA emblem on tailgate to go with it😍
I choose Ridgeline many times over, but just for reliability, crash test, and being original are some of the reasons
Definitely the ridgeline for me. Having a naturally aspirated engine compared to a turbo is definitely a plus. Plus the bigger bed size is a must for what I would use it for.

Not really a fair comparison in my opinion. The Ridgeline is a mid-size truck, is significantly larger and has a much higher starting price. It should have better build quality and capability because its price justifies that. The Santa Cruz is more comparable to a Ford Maverick both in size and price point. The Ridgeline is more of a daily driver friendly option to trucks like the Tacoma or Ranger.

I own a 2023 Ridgeline I would pick it over the Santa Cruz just by size and ride alone. You’re comparing a compact vs Midsize vehicle. Santa Cruz is a Tucson with rear cut out for bed. Ridgeline is a pilot with the rear cut out for the bed . I came from a 2020 and 2022 Pilot .

Its not bias, the santa cruz transmission already has a recall. Not reliable
I have had a Ridgeline and it was a very nice truck. As with all vehicles it had its issues. Just got a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Still in discovery phase with it but the audio and touch screens are way better. As for the torque, Wow, I am impressed. This video neglects to point out all the utility of the Santa Cruz. It has multiple tie down options, integrated steps on the bumpers. A tonneau cover which I think is better than Honda. More accessories on the Santa Cruz. Yep, the Honda trunk is deeper but if you have a flat and have a load in your truck, that is gonna be a pain to change the tire. Again both are really good but Honda has increased the price close to what you could get a full size truck. Best in town mpg for my Ridgeline was 16.5 whereas so far on the new Santa Cruz it is 20.8. So far for me, more utility and creature features on the Santa Cruz
