My 06 I had I went with 15/32 sprockets. It made a noticeable difference. My 05 I have now I'm going to go with a 15/31 sprocket. Even with steep hills of WV the 15/32 was still a touch to low. I want to see in my plans achieving a 100mpg. my 15/32 got me on long back road trips right near 90. The factory 14/33 that's on it now is pulling 75-79 mpg pretty reliably.

A 28 tooth rear sprocket changes these bikes significantly, makes them highway rideable.

I just bought another one last Tuesday that has a 30 tooth rear sprocket and stock 14 on the front and I enjoy it way more than the stock gearing for sure

@@DirtRider22a I think the stock gearing is to allow a new rider to basically idle through the cones in motorcycle courses around the country. The one I had with a 28 tooth sprocket on it really stretched out the shifts on the bike and made it really a pleasure to ride.
