The fact that this guy is building the car he wants from scratch is amazing. They craftsman ship is amazing. I have a lot of respect for that builder.

It’s seems that the Car Culture there is what used to be the backbone of the US Car Culture in the 80s-90s. It was all about the pure love of the build and car that resulted afterwards . Driving around on a Friday night just to drive in Gut (circle) to see everyone else’s cars. I miss those days and you have found them again in Bangkok!

The Thais are extremely good at what they do, and they seem to be able to do more and more. At the same time they don't have the uptight temperaments and worry that the Japanese and Koreans tend to have. It's a pity the authorities in Oz aren't a bit more lenient. You can't just 'Build' a car like you can there. They totally stifle all 'car creativity'. Remember, a ref light is only a suggestion in Thailand.

I dig the attitude too. Almost enough to move there when things open up.
