High mount winch install how to on our 2023 Honda Pioneer 520 SXS, using a KFI style winch mount from Dasen/Amazon and a Champion 4500 lb winch with synthetic rope. We have included the provided instructions and wiring diagrams in the video. We are using the "alternate wiring" setup where the yellow (+) and blue (-) connect from the battery to the contactor due to wire length requirements.

Currently the 2023 Honda rancher 4x4 and the 2023 Honda pioneer 520 and the 1984 camaro. Might be able to squeeze one motorcycle in there 🤷🏽♂️

Just installed a KFI mount on a 520 and it installed flawlessly without having to pry open the mount or tweak the U bolts. The manual you showed at 9:36 is literally the KFI manual. Sad that the company had to copy that too... I will pay $20 more every time if I know it will fit without issue and was made in the US. Get what you pay for I guess... Nice video though!

John, does your winch installation location not impair radiator cooling when moving? It kind of looked that way to me. Nice neat job.

I don’t foresee any issues. There is plenty of space around it and electric pull fan on the other side. This style mount has been around since the pioneer 500 days . My idea was radiator protection because the awkward gap between the grille and bumper
