New old car project ! 1998 Honda Accord "Sharhonda" gets a new MAP sensor and @MrJohn613 tries the Innova fix assist 3210 OBD2 reader bluetooth scanner along with the Repair Solutions 2 app for diagnostics and check engine light p0108 code clear delete after repair.
In this video we will also give the car a well deserved oil change, take it in for a new windshield install, and preview things to come in future upcoming videos.

Good morning John -- after the next 317000 km when the map sensor goes out again, you might want to clean it with MAF or MAP sensor spray (I used brake cleaner though). Usually restores them to new condition. They just get dirty inside as they take in air constantly.

so maybe save the one you just took out as it may be a good spare after cleaning.

You’re right! Sometimes sensors and electronics can get dirty, or the passages can get clogged. It’s always cheap or free to try cleaning things first, I agree. The next 300,000 kms would be a blessing if it keeps going that long.

😂👍🏽 this comment made me LOL laugh out loud 😜 is it kilometrerage ? Hah we do say mileage but we measure in metric units since Trudeau Sr changed from imperial in the 70’s I believe . It’s complicated too because most of us prefer to measure in inches and such

@@613Builds Yeah I heard you say it had High Mileage while showing the kilometers. Its just easier to say 1 syllable 'miles' instead of 4. I feel for you guys having to straddle the line between metric and "standard". But I think you'll be satisfied with your Honda! Always loved that particular body style. Best of luck!
