I would say, if you don't feel that Honda NX500 is overpriced (I feel, it's, by around Rs 75000-100000) then just go for it. I have driven one of the first bikes in the form of Honda CB500x (it was around Rs 800000 on road, then😳), borrowing it from my friend for a ride up to some 14-15 kms. It was worth relishing a lot, despite it being unjustifiable costlier then. It's one of the most proven middleweight bikes all over the world and the twin 471 cc is really marvellous! I believe you would enjoy driving it to the hilt.

Everyone says Versys is great for touring but not good where roads are bad. NX500 is more balanced.

You should compare nx500 to versys 2024 new model

I think it's not worth spending 7L for a Linear powered 500cc twin Cylinder. Better to buy a used Versys 650 at 5L for road trips (it will have all accessories) and a new xpulse worth 1.5L for city and offroad. U still left with 1.5L amount (saved 1L from buying all touring accessories for Nx500 i.e. guards, light, top box ) use that amount for fuel and wear n tear parts.

Honda should circulate more spare parts to make high end bikes successful honda is pretty good brand for cruse like on Honda Goldwing

What about mileage? , Service cost ? What is beneficial if versys has bigger fuel capacity, end of the day if both has given almost similar range . Both are good bikes with Japanese bullet proof engines and both have different capabilities.

Assume u bought a used versys and rode at 80-90Kmph, u will get a mileage of 28-29kmpl for sure. i have checked few videos, it seems sweet spot for Nx500 is 90kmph only. With the remaining amount u can go for another Honda i.e. Activa 🤣

Even my daughters Old Honda Activa i (scooty) model has 188 mm ground clearance which is more confidentaly ridden through city road speed breakers . I dont agree with the point of that if the ground clearance is high than the seat height also increases. More or less the rules does apply but made me confused.

@@FalconRiders People here dont go through specifications of a vehicle. So now Honda are also like what public demands. Kis kis ko samajane baithenge. So model was discontinued. It is also nowadays like what public demands . Like changing Models specs as early as possible.

Its a CBU unit so it's price is high

Versys is better on highways but offroad Halka wala bhi thora tough h. Same confusion h to abhi upgrade nahi kiya unless test ride na lun

what ur view on having a used Versys along with a new Xpulse?

Honda India consider India as dumpyard for Mid segment launches. No one has any clue about availability and forget test rides. I waited for NX500 for almost.1.5 years when it was launched in Bangalore. Dealer couldn't tell when it will be available although their website always showed it as model under sale.
