Honda Monkey 125 Takegawa STD exhaust
Just a sound comparison between the stock and Takegawa STD exhausts. The Takegawa does away with the cat, but retains the stock heat shields and end cap.
Sound measurements:
Stock: 77db idle, 89db throttle up
Takegawa: 83db idle, 94db throttle up
If the stock exhaust is a 1/10, this is a 3/10.

The Takegawa sounds so much better than the stock one; it's less noticeable in neutral but driving makes the difference. The Takagawa has very much lower growl to it.
How much is that exhaust, and where can I get it

Maybe a touch, but that could be placebo with the extra noise. I would not buy it and expect any performance improvement. Perhaps it needs an intake to really breathe better.
