    @shumi, I think you missed that CB not only has 3Nm more, it's lighter and pumps that torque at a 25% lower RPM. Together, these allow honda to go with taller gearing and still have acceptable performance. Means better FE and more relaxed engine while crusing on the highway.

    Wow. I actually liked this "In The Moment Review" No unnecessary music and useless Dramatic cut shots. A guy just simply telling how he felt the bike was and what are the challenges that the company and the product will face in the coming time. I've stopped watching Indian reviewers Review vehicles because it's just so dramatic and has senseless Bollywood vibes. Kudos to Shumi and whoever's idea it was for this kind of review.

    I think shumi expectation are extremely high.... It's just a 2L 350 cc bike..... I've owned one since oct 22 and it's absolutely fantastic..... He's right about the tall gearing and that's only when you are in extremely high speeds and have to slow done then you'll feel decrease in more but that's negligible Works brilliant in the city and amazing on long journeys as it's ergonomics are comfortable

  • @raghunathk249
    @raghunathk2493 жыл бұрын

    The higher gearing in CB350 is an advantage rather than a minus..the top end becomes smooth and unrestrained. Regarding the frequent changing of gears, it's not really that frequent at all once you get the hang of being in the right slot in the right situation.. instead, operating the butter smooth clutch and gear box of the CB350 can be an exhilarating experience. Just take a trial ride before booking the CB350 ( or any other bike ) instead of basing your judgment on KZread reviews and comments..2 lacs is not a small amount and a bike is just a machine meant to serve your needs, hence better that there be no room for crappy emotional attachments when you take the plunge..

    @ Raghunath Bro but in Abhinav Bhatt's review he said that CB 350 will be comfortable at 90-95 on highway whereas Meteor is comfortable at even 100-105. So where has that extra 3NM in CB 350 gone? I mean it has to show it's presence somewhere. And not to forget it is lighter by 10 kgs. Honda definitely hasn't made it easier for us to choose 😃😡

It’s good to have it sold only at the Big Wing outlets, can you imagine taking it for a service at the normal Honda outlets and finding space for the CB with all the Activa’s. Here Honda is giving you a premium experience which will also help in the lifetime of your CB. If it was at the normal outlets then the same people who would like there instead of Big Wing would crib and cry saying after paying more than two lacs we have to share it with Activas. Cheers

    Honda knows that these journalists will protect RE business interest & will give biased review. Take this short review for an example. He kept mentioning how Meteor is not so far behind while he didn’t utter a single word on Classic 350 which is right comparison to H’Ness. Classic 350 is cash cow for RE & it doesn’t stand a chance to win competition with H’Ness. So none of the Auto Journalist is daring to speak on H’Ness V.S. Classic 350.

I am ready to support eicher motors and indian made enfields. Not a blind follower of re cult but a person who needed a feel in the lazy morning rides would prefer re because of the performance it has to offer. Classic with j platform can easily outperform highness i future

    @@avinavaduttaroychowdhury5612 “We can expect” is a speculation. CB350 is better than Classic 350 is a fact. Also, unlike Honda new RE bikes are prone to niggles & we have to consider this angle before certifying that new RE engine is at par to Honda. I too feel proud for Indian companies. I really liked the way Tata upped the game in Safety, Mahindra doing outstanding job with Thar. But RE isn’t in same league. It took 13 years for an engine update, for many years complaints of rust have fallen on deaf ears, except for Interceptor all new launches have been full of niggles, the price however kept increasing, this list can go on. In nutshell, RE took their fans for granted for long. The formidable competition from Honda will only get best out of RE at faster pace. As an automobile enthusiast my opinion is that we should allow this to happen without favouring RE with any kind of bias. That’s why I am criticising jornos.

    These first'impression videos are far better than the scripted ones that come out as reviews. Got a lot of useful information. Shumi, you would do this frequently when at overdrive, you should do this more often. Not everyone likes all that background score and scripted content.

    Why is no one mentioning about its lack of a Kickstarter is baffling to me. I would not want to "push-start" this heavy metal body if ever the electrical system fails. In motorcycles , Kickstarter is still a must for being considered practical

    Hi. Contrary to what you say I think the gear shifter is just ideal, for both the toe and the heel. I find it surprising you didnt run to mama to complain about the inferior headlamps, which in most cases will let you down when u need illumination the most.

    CB350 Areas of Improvement from a owners perspective: #while bike is happily sold out of BigWing territories, no local service support, only oil change capabilities 😅😅 # option of seat configuration at purchase not provided. #lack of connectivity app from Honda for iOS/Apple on DLX Pro - even after 8 -9 months of launch 😰😰 # OEM crash / Leg guard could have been bigger to protect the bike in case of fall # factory fitted mud flaps front & rear, bash plate should be provided. # some additional storage under seat would have been useful.

    I bought the bike and covered 250kms by now... I love the bike a lot... even if they benchmarked classic 350... it is completely new experience apart from classic But I noticed some small issues... bar end plastic was quite cheap... switchs are a bit rough to operate... the exhast makes tic tic sound after stopping even on shorter rides ( I guess cost cutting in silencer metal so thermal expansion easy).....the stock seat are quite small ..though adds to look ... a wider seat for rider would have been nice....!!! Bla bla bla... shits apart Bike is really really awesome , I'm the 3red customer in Tamilnadu , the service here made me dull but that's not a big deal..

    You are right..Don't know how these so called professionals get their basics wrong sometimes..with all that gravel, sand, wet patches , oil spills etc on our roads, traction control should be mandatory on all 2 wheelers. It's not rare to see people getting badly injured or lose their lives when their 2 wheelers ( including scooters ) slipped on sand patches that are common at the edge of Indian roads..
