One of the great era's , but not the best. There were the 1920's, magnificent 1930's, the 1950's 1960's and 1970's.

That MP4/5 is literally the best sounding car i've ever heard.

You probably would have said the same about these cars if this was 1980 odd now (the older cars were better and current ones crap).

I remember the sounds of these as they raced around the Adelaide street circuit in the mid 80's, they were such awesome machines, the number 5 Williams was the car that Nigel Mansell virtually lost a World Championship in during the 1986 Adelaide F1 when he suffered a blow out on the back straight, leaving Alain Post to take the championship in an inferior car. Great to see these cars again, thanks for posting.

No stall and no clutch problem with three different F1 cars. Three very nice and clean starts. A good pilot ! Old ladies need to be driven gently. The "Honda Collection Hall" in Motegi, a place to see !

the lotus 100T displayed is wrong as the engine in that lotus is a turbo not a N/A

wish the current crop of v6 turbos sounded like this. turn up boost please fia or at least the RPM's. Although i do miss the old v8's and v10's.

The modern v6s actually rev like 4000rpm higher hahaha, although an increase in boost would be mighty fine

The McLaren (1989) is a V10 engine. The other 2 are V6s.

There's a niche market for new tires for old F1 cars. They're not cheap, I'm sure, but given there's a sanctioned racing series for classic F1, the demand exists. Heck, Avon (who made the tires used here) have even found it worth developing front tires for the Tyrrell P34, and those are absolutely unique.

these arent cars, but formulas :) downsizing in auto sport is bad for audience and fans, but engines today are much more efficient and durable specially with all the electronic systems availible today...and racing is much more safer due to development in racing industry. lap times of these great old beasts are uncomparable to todays f1 lap times which is obviously also reason your idea will never come to life. sad, but true and logical.
