This would honestly be my dream scenario for a 2 stroke. A newer 450R frame has to feel amazing with a 2 stroke 500 motor in it. True definition of all out 😂

There's just something about the plastic, decals, and aluminum in the right spot, Just grabz me by the reedz!!!

Nice, I had a 89 CR500RK that I bought new. Definitely need to make a airbox to sell it to motorcycle swap candidates, maybe 3D printed.As for the reservoir one of the suspension companies could probably make or swap the upper body/ reservoir or possibly just machine it off and use a remote reservoir. Race Tech comes to mind.

If Honda would stop hating 2 strokes and just make 500s again, I would definitely buy one. They just don’t want to see that the 2 strokes that they would make sell out extremely quickly while there is still inventory on 4 strokes

i agree 100% they would outsell them.. but Honestly i dont care if they ever make them again… i enjoy building stuff like this How ever.. i WISH they would keep producing cr500 oem pcs and not discontinue parts.

Ive seen SO MANY people hack a 450 frame up doing this... THIS is such a better idea much much cleaner probably safer too.

@@BVCOFFROAD probably new custom built bikes not an old 40yr old bike. Man I'm not kidding yeah I get good laugh in watching guys try to start my dad's bike even my brother damn near broke his shin a lot of compression. If you haven't seen 1 started good luck starting it most don't know how to build compression by giving it a couple clicks then hammer the kick in. Bam she starts every time.

It's much more difficult to turn it quad into a trike then turning a dirt bike into a trike. They won't be making one

Exactly. All the ones with good engines and bent frames are gone. And a complete bike is a collector item. I just revived a buddies 89. Did the top end, carb, resealed the shock and forks. It's basically stock & untouched with low hours. Just rode it yesterday. Fairly certain he's asking 7000 for it and not willing to part it out. This conversion looks sweet!

Getting the motors are becoming harder as the prices of parts for these are skyrocketing. We just stroked a YZ motor and put it in the warrior for someone. Best bet now is to go on marketplace Facebook and try to find a bike and take the motor out of it. Some people on eBay want as much as five grand or more for a motor

@@BVCOFFROAD I also wanted to add that we use pro action for suspension they are out New Jersey. New Jersey has been a source for quite a few 500 as well as Delaware and New York 💪🙏
