A truly incredible car. The single best purchase I have ever made. 150000 miles and its only needed pads and tyres. Very economical, huge interior space for such a small car. Magic seats are great with a dog.

I rented this car once; cruised mostly at around 150, occasionally got up to 180-200 and covering about 720 km in just a little over 5 hours including stops (dash average was 136). I've only used 52 liters of fuel (measured full tank to full tank) which brings the actual consumption to 7.3L/100km. I dont think theres any petrol car that can achieve this level of fuel economy driving over 140 most of the journey

4,8 l/100 is pure fantasy. Don't trust the dashboard calculations and make your own, you'll see that the car burns about 1 more l/100 km than advertised. With mine I went as low as 5,2 l/100 (dashboard). real consumption was 6,2 l/100

I have 2008 type S. Actually computer calculates correct. I have measured and it was the same amount with computer. 4.8 is pure fantasy but I am driving around 6.3-6.5l in average. I think considering its age and power, this engine is pretty efficient.

2007 civic 1.8L 140hp manual here. In my case it uses about 0.3-0.4L more than the trip computer shows.

Is all this factual because my 1.4 liter car requires about 8 L per 100 km ? My car has 95 horsepower . Where as this is an 1.8 liter 140 horsepower engine , how can It have such high fuel economy???

Excelente video

My computer is off by 0,6 liters/100km. Best I managed was 6.4 liters (5.8 on the computer). Usually it does about 6.7-7.

Testuję sporo aut i na ich tle UFO wypada słabo jeśli chodzi o komfort jazdy - zawieszenie jest twarde i glośne, zgadzam się w 100%. Pełną opinię o każdym aucie znajdziesz w opisach pod filmami :)

@@PresidentDrive Zależy mi na dobrym wozie, który nie będzie denerwował mnie codziennie swoimi usterkami tak, jak to robi obecnie mój wszędzie zachwalany Passat B5, który jest krótko mówiąc przereklamowany. Wcale nie jest tak wspaniały, jak go wszędzie opisują. Trochę poczytałem i Civic najbardziej plusuje właśnie silnikiem, dobrym spalaniem i bez awaryjnoscia. Nigdy nie miałem Hondy, ale mój świętej pamięci ojciec miał kilka i chwalił.

@@michapeczek7649 Bez awaryjność zależy od tego jak kto dbał. Ja testuję samochody, nie jest to mój prywatny nabytek. Przedstawiony Civic miał niecałe 100 tys. km i jeździł jak nowy. Poprzedni właściciel do tego przebiegu też nic nie ruszał - bez awarii. Zachęcam do śledzenia mojego kanału, jest sporo ciekawych aut wartych rozważenia :)

@@michapeczek7649 Też szukam tego Civic-a z 1.8 pojemności. Pierwsze auto jakie miałem to był Civic 5 generacji z silnikiem 1.5 90 KM. Bardzo miło wspominam to auto. Pancerne i "idiotoodporne". Miałem go 12 lat. Sprzedałem jako 26 latka. Oczywiście racja, że jak się dba, tak się ma, jednak Civic-ki z reguły dużo wybaczają. Ważne żeby był co rok serwisowany tak jak trzeba - wszystkie płyny plus filtry i klocki plus tarcze jeżeli już się nadają do wymiany, sprawdzić zawieszenie czy się wszystko trzyma i czy rudej nie ma. W razie czego zrobić. Olej sprawdzić, ewentualnie dolać jak trzeba i jeździć, jeździć, jeździć. Ok, mój Civic nie widział nigdy gazu, więc nie powiem czy warto gazować czy nie. Ale za to w serwisie w trakcie przeglądu nie raz słyszałem, że to auto jak na taki wiek to jest bardzo dobrze utrzymane i tutaj nic się nie dzieje.

Gdyby nie to fatalne wyciszenie i kiepskie blachy to naprawdę byłoby fajne auto.

Wyciszenie nie jest najlepsze, to fakt. Dla mnie największym minusem, który zauważyłem podczas testu, była praca zawieszenia. Super się sprawdza tylko na prostych drogach bez dziur..

Jeżdżę takim. Z wyciszeniem moim zdaniem nie jest najgorzej, ale na 17- stkach zawieszenie jest zbyt twarde. Nie wiem dlaczego wrzucili tu belkę. W 6 gen miałem wielowachacz z tyłu i było super, do 270000 nic nie naprawiłem. A tu 80 kilka i już coś popukuje z tyłu. Ruda fakt od spodu widoczna, ale zabezpieczyć można i na kilka lat wystarczy. Ale ogólnie fajnie się jeździ, szczególnie silnik super chociaż tak niskiego spalania jak w tytule nie udało mi się osiągnąć. Pozdrawiam fanów marki!

@@piotrnapora5810 inne, to znaczy wielowachaczowe? W sedanie jest takie i jeździ się o wiele wygodniej. Teściu miał i testowałem. Ale wątpię żeby dało się takie włożyć do hb. Za mało miejsca i ekonomicznie nieuzasadnione.

4.8l/100km? you mean 7 l/100km with normal driving , impossible that a 1800cc gasoline consumes the same as a diesel

mine civic 1.5 VTEC-Econo can go below 5L if driving 90-100 on highway and for petrol 25 year old engine it's awensome , but in normal driving more like 6.5L ... 4.8 in normal driving is not achiveable in normal drive on normal petrol engine in this size of a car .

Horrible drive. When you put this into windy conditions or to ice, winter, you know what UFO stands for. Holy F this is bad unstable car to drive. So different to other Hondas.

@@WeeFreeMan78 No, it's not on rails. It's only rails if you drive on it's comfort zones like highways. Or if you mean that "it's on rails" that you cannot handle it since it just keeps going to direction you wouldn't it like to go... I LIKE Hondas and Honda Civic VIII Sedan drives mightily fine, was close buying one. There's something wrong with this chassis and this hatchback, it could be something like weight distribution but take it on the road during snowy windy winter and you know what I'm talking about. It felt UNSAFE. I'm not trolling or kidding. And I'm not the only one that thinks so. What I have heard the later models have done better so I could myself even think getting one, but not this UFO model, it felt like a kite.

@@markiv2942 Mate, I own the 3d Type S version since 2008, I've driven it through hell and back in every different kind of weather conditions so believe me, this is one of the best cars handling wise. On the highway it swallows miles like nothing, sips fuel and in winding roads it is a riot for a 145 hp car. Have way newer cars in the family in this category, our latest addition being a 120d BMW. The civic has nothing to be afraid of cars made today. Maybe the one you drove was shot but it surely was not the standard. Also, seeing your name is Mark iv, I take it you drive a golf?
