@@eenigma9531 I have a 97itr swap, just put my swap in the shop for a rebuild, and my cars getting painted, it’s a 98 ek coupe. personally myself pending km and if you didn’t import it yourself from the jdm shop suggest to go get it taken apart and see if the internals are okay an compression an stuff, that’s just me though, I thought it was a good idea and it was, I had a little score in the cylinder walls, so I got it bored out and lowered my compression to 10.1 so I can slap a turbo on, I was at 11.1 because that’s what type r is set at, And does push decent power from stock, I only had one drive in it because And that was to the paint shop after I bought it from the guy who lived 2 houses down the road from me, still not done yet, motor parts are slow coming in due to Covid, an took my motor to my buddy who works on motors and cars for a living, good at what he does! let me know how yours is,

4.40 final drive i suppose? i also rev 9k and with a 4.7 end of 4th is at about 180-185

Once I'm done paying off my 2013 Honda Si I'll be getting a ek hatch here where I am from they have a shop where they ship motors from Japan I'll be getting this same motor for it 😎👌🔰

Yeah @4k is too low. 5.5-5.8k would be better but ideally you'd want a smooth crossover. I believe stock is @6k. I think my old B18C1 with R cams had it around that area and the car felt smooth up to redline.
