Hi Sir. Mine is honda civic 2005, the fans are working great and the AC button is turned on, but i dont see the coldness coming from the fans. What might be the reason for it ? And if i take it to a local repairer, how much are they gonna charge and for what ? Thanks in advance. I LIVE IN CANADA

Well ac systym requires lot of testing start with check fuse relay and pressure in ac systym

hi ! so i have a 2000 honda civic si and had a question with my ac! so when i go to turn it on i hear a ticking noise which i thought could be the compressor or even the compressor clutch, i tried to recharge my ac but it didn’t seem to work , and i was gonna take it to a shop but wasn’t sure if they were gonna charge me a shit ton if you have any answers lmk👏🏽

Well check to see where the noise is coming from listen to it it could blend door motor

Thanks RB. 🤔. I have a question my fans are not working. Y change the switch coolant thermostat and relays are good . And I see I don’t have A/C Could be that the problem for the fans? If a disconnect the wires from the compressor it will be fine? Any advice please. Thanks again.

It get to 187f I was reading that supposed to turn the fans at 95f I’m Not sure now. But smells the coolant by the radiator,

I’ve tried everything on my 03 civic even the evaporator under the dash. AC only comes on when the relay is jumped but the fans stay off so no cold air. I feel like I’ve checked literally everything. I give up. I’m bringing it in to a shop Wednesday. These 7the gens AC system is hot garbage

@@RBTheMechanic I think I may have figured it out. The only thing I haven’t checked was the fan motors. I saw online that post 90s civics dual fans are meant to run together but you can get by and run with only one if the other goes out. Well apparently I’ve been driving this car for years with a bad radiator fan and I guess the ac won’t engage because it’s only running on the condenser fan. Now that the system is charged it kinda blow coolish/room temp air but it won’t get cold. I noticed that difference while charging it. So I’m going to replace the fan and hopefully that will allow the ac to engage again.

Hey I have a question, my ac works I took it to the shop, they filled it up and also checked for leaks and nothing. Summer is here and on 85 and up degrees days it gets warm after about 10 minutes of cold air? Any thoughts?

I did I sawped it with the horn which I know works

All my fuses are good. I jumped the relay for compressor and it comes on. When i unplug the hi pressure switch and jump it nothing happens. Is it the switch on the dash? Or wiring issue? Only two things i can think of. I may just throw a hi pressure switch at it against my will and see if that fixes it but i don't think that will solve the issue. 03 civic dx 1.7l

Also all relays are good i checked them all in horn relay spot and they all work fine...

Did the ac get cold when u jumped it? And did u swap the ac relay

If you jumped ac relay and it comes on " ac works" you have a bad relay. If you turn on your ac and is not blowing air, check your HVAC resistor and motor blower.

When I turn on my AC on no air comes out. Would changing the relay also help with this problem?

@@sjw0233 possability could be blower motor bad but do check fuse and relay also put the blower motor on high speed and bang on the motor maybe it will kick on

tried all of this stuff on my 05 civic. and its still blowing scalding hot air when the ac is on

My civic AC started acting haunted. Comes on when switched off. No controls working at all none of them for any of the climate controls. Self diagnosis will not run, No blinks. Any idea what it might be?

Start with swaping out relay and check Freon pressure but seems like ur control panel is going bananas what year is this civic new cars with electrical controls suck

@@chainsaw2010 maybe the moduel is bad the control panel if it’s tuning on and off by ur self with setting on off

What happens if the fan works , clutch works , relay works and the fuses all work but your AC only blows hot air ? I checked the Freon also and it's good . Any idea what it can be ? Can it be the knob that gets stuck on heat ? Should I try resetting it ? HELP

Check ur blend door if it operates it might be on heat and dosent turn it cold side

When you say blend door is that located behind the glove compartment or is that the switch that you use when turning it from hot to cold . I went ahead and purchased the remote mechanism that operates the air function , hot or cold knob and AC on and off function . Hope that helps

Exact same issue blows semi cold when high speed at idle hot as day and im in texas :D, lmk if u find a solution

Hey anyone there so i got a 01 civic some years ago i fixed my ac replacing the ac compressor and cleaned ac lines too it's blowing cold aire but i don't think that blows enough air does anyone there had same problem or something thx

Could be filters. If my filter are bad the ac doesn’t come all the way threw
