Thanks. Everything but the powder coating I must admit. Even though I like to think that a true shed build must all be done by yourself I am going to cheat on my next build and have the spray painting done by someone else. After I’ve seen the results I just can’t come close.
That's really impressive and looked like a massive amount of work. Well done. I'm more of a "buy it when finished" kind of guy. I do find it oddly soothing watching other people work though, so these video's are therapeutic for me. Thanks for uploading. Honda fours make great donor bikes!!
Awesome build! And great timelapse! I know how filming a project adds a whole lot more time to it, but it's definitely worth it. Also I love your cafe style seat, everything about it, the exposed metal cowl, the leather jacket used for the pad, the proportions.. a seat really changes the look and feel of a bike, and your seat totally nails it. It's like the cherry on top lol.

LOL ... then low and behold, I read your idea. NICE CALL!

@@forthebold Understood, and making a plate that bridges that gap is pretty ingenious. Plus, you get to keep your stock clamps of course. Seen many clamps that are hollowed out there as well, and as you know you can't really grind those off in those instances. Cool build and a great looking machine brother. Really got me stoked watching your work. Keep it up!

I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. I'm amazed by the bike. It looks outstanding. The tank isn't to my taste but its a great job. The one criticism I have is the seat. Its the one thing letting the bike down in my opinion. I know it's easy for me to sit here and criticise as I couldn't even come close to what you have achieved but nonetheless that seat needs some work. Otherwise a fantastic project that has been a joy to watch!

I think it suits it that it's a little on the not perfect side, as though it's seen a few arses and a few campaigns, at the beginning of the vid he describes wanting the bike to show a mix of battle scars and pride from 79 to the present day, it's the bike itself that's the warrior, it's been on the road for 40 years and still gets looks, it's probably older than most guys watching the vid. (But not me) Anyway, it works for me. Just sayin, ;-)
