Goodmorning from Greece. The Honda service manual says silicone paste in the caliber guide's. I try in my cub 125 cc disc brake and the results it's excellent! And cooper paste in the brake pad guide pins.

I am surprised you didn't coat the pistons withe silicon grease. Thanks 😁

Another brilliant video! You always seem to be able to show and explain simply, what I thought might be difficult and complex maintenance work on the CB500X. My up most thanks to you! Looks like I'm definitely going to have invest in a "light" torque wrench for myself. I have a big torque wrench, but nothing for low torque settings ... yet 👍👍👍 Bedankt!

old mechanic be carefull,if your wife sees this video you are gonna have to sleep in the shed.. tip there is a plier for turning the brake pistons its way handy for cleaning all around the pistons.

Need same installation to move up mine easily too

Love this video. You helped me do my engine oil change, now I'm trying to get the courage to clean the calipers. I'm thinking I may get my mobile mechanic to fit my ferodo sintered brake pads, I'll watch and I'll do the cleaning bit. Better safe than sorry. I clean mine with brake parts cleaner and extra fine steel wool on the corroded parts...this is better than soap and water no?
