Yes Made in Japan is a brand in itself. I own 2 Kawasakis, of which the Z900 is 45 years old 162000 km, the ZZR is 25 years old and 80000km. Then a Suzuki GSXR 1000 k6 which has 35000km of which most of its early life, upto 19000km, was spent as a track bike. I converted it back to a road bike . All these bikes are completely reliable. I am now 70 and have ridden only Japanese motircycles since 1970.

My FAV things about Japanese car/motorcycle/electronics factories are the people who work hard in spite of problems and get it right the first time (unlike many other countries) and the sounds you hear which make the factory sound like a Japanese video game arcade.
My Africa Twin runs so good and has been perfectly reliable. I love my Honda!
Never cared about brands, used to switch my bikes every 2 years. The BMW's were so unreliable, I needed a second bike for a fallback. Driving all year, every day for 15 years. After my new Harley started to rust in the second year, decided to have at look at Honda. What struck me, all my friends driving Honda where loving their bikes. So I got my first Honda, a VFR 1200 X. This was 6 years ago. 40'000 miles on the clock and it still runs like new. Sold my second bike, don't need it anymore. I admit, I've been converted to Honda lover... Deep respect to all the ingenious Honda workers.

I wish they were reliable. My brand new Africa Twin had engine problems within the first week of ownership. It spent many many months in the shop. It went back and forth to Honda dealerships for 2 years… Still has a terrible knock. Nobody could figure it out, and Honda would not buy it back from me or let me pay the difference on a new one. I tried. Did I have a lemon? Maybe, but if you start searching, you will find that a lot of these bikes have engine problems. Just bought a GS1200. No knocks, no choking or dying. A bunch of people put 200K on their GS.

Segunda vez que assisto esse vídeo da vontade de ter uma moto desta linda e parece que todos os funcionários dá dedicação e amor pelo seu trabalho.

It’s May 2022 , the stability of cash flow is back to pre-covid levels. I’ve finally pulled the trigger on ……, drumroll…,, S….H Gen3. Suzuki Hayabusa Gen3 in white. It’s been awesome so far. I had the Suzuki GSXs 1000 & Kawasaki GTR 1400 after my XSR900. Reason for my purchase, I love the in-line 4 engine in the Suzuki. I tried the GTR to manage the weight. It was more than manageable. So a Japanese reliable machine with the preferred engine & not to mention the sound it makes plus all the modern upgrades, cruise control, QS , hillstop assist, 6 axis IMU & the customisation available & ease of navigation through its menu….. that’s just on paper. The ride blew me away….. effortless power , smooth as butter much lighter than the GTR. Not forgetting there are luggage options that have made it possible to commute daily on this motorcycle. It’s a breeze cutting through traffic, the clutch is light. All this package & reliability at a price of $54000 SIN dollars, much cheaper than an AT. ($59000) & GS ($73000) the performance is definitely far superior & the comfort wasn’t compromised despite the seating position, in fact at 200kmh it’s less brutal on your upper body than the GS … I’ve tried . So far I’ve only rode only 7 hours with my wife on my back for a warm up tour. The bike wasn’t the problem but my wife forcing her weight on me as I pushed faster was taxing on my 75kg frame. Next month doing a solo trip to Thailand 2000km . I’m really looking forward to it. Thanks Suzuki for reviving the Hayabusa.

I was a kid in the 50's when we were beginning to see a lot of merchandise arriving from Japan. Most of it was crap, not unlike what we see from China now. Japan was quick to learn that the junk they were exporting just wasn't going to get it with western consumers. The beginning of the uptick in quality that sticks in my mind is the appearance of good quality transistor radios. They took the market by storm. Then, other electronics, autos, motorcycles ETC. Every product Was of A1 (or maybe a few A2's) quality. It hasn't changed. I don't have to tell you what Made In Japan means now. Japanese are amazing people. They see a concept, study it and if it looks like a winner, it will be in production in no time at all. They don't fuck around. We could learn a lot.
Thank you, guys, for Your hard work, reliable, always modern and beautiful devices. Sincerely, from Russia.
From Mexico, thank you Japan, you guys are the best.
