....hmmm, I prefer standard ones - although cheap 'pattern' ones are available on e-bay for a quarter of what genuine Honda ones cost . The good thing is , they use different bulbs - which are available in 23 watts ...rather than the standard 21 w !

yo man just saw your body lift video and thought it wascool your still doing this ;). anyway i was wondering if you ever had anyissues with the hockey pucks? (i have to take a body lift on and make them about an inch tall, so perfect for the hockey puck.) yeah but itd be cool if you could let me know!

Thanks! I never had any issues with the hockey pucks... but I did total the truck a few months after installing them so I didn’t get to run them all that long. In the crash tho I slid sideways into another vehicle and the cab pretty much tipped off the hockey pucks and the bolts either broke or pulled thru the cab. So might want to get some bigger hardware if you can.

I am working on the same bike putting LEDs. They didn't work. I re-connected the old bulbs at the same time, they do work fine. May you tell me what the actual role of the diode in comparison to the resistor in that job? Thanks!

You may have the polarity of the led reversed try swapping the two wires on the led around. A diode is essentially a one way valve for electricity, it only allows current to flow one way. A resistor restricts current flow. So the way I wired it the diode prevents current from back feeding the parking lamp circuit when the turn signals are on and the resistor dims the led when the parking lamps are on
