The fact that those kids knew to hide in the closet says a lot about how well raised and prepared they were. Very sorry this family had to experience this. He sounds like he was an angel in disguise. 😢

@detresed Your comment is the ignorant one. Even the Bible tells you what the commenter stated. A prophet isn't welcome in his home town. You can change any neighborhood but still living amongst beings that you are not, will also work to your disadvantage. When your from where Kendall was from you will understand why the comment was made. I am, these words come from having and living this experience daily. I am not condoning evil or negative behavior anywhere. I am saying do not live where your trying to help. Jealousy, envy, and even mistaken identity about the usual crimes will be present. Staying alive is a goal for a black man in Baltimore. His heart was in the right place but he didn't think his moves through. Buying a house in Park Heights is a matter of time before problems are at your door. It's not a possibility it's a certainty.

My heart goes out to his family. My son was shot and killed by a supposed to be best friend just because he was tired of my son talking. My son was a good son he wasn't in the streets he was a family man he leaves 3 children and I'm left with nothing but pain and hurt. So I know the feeling and pain

This channel should cover the tradgedy in the small town of Eastchester NY. When a crazed gunman locked himself in a house and killed a cop. The standoff lasted 6-8 hours and changed that town forever. I grew up a few houses down from the tragedy. I'll never forget it

Is it possible to be racist against your own people well the so called African American thugs, Gang bangers and drug dealers. Law abiding Niji people I love, i just dislike criminals who wreak havoc on the community and people that look them. We our own worst enemy and stop blaming other races for ignorance and the way some brought up. RIP King we need more like him.

@@nakitapalmer656Same here. That city is the pits. I visited there when they last won the super bowl. We saw grown men selling drugs in the streets people looked horrible. It's really sad how the people have no shame about how the community looks. Once I read about this story I wasn't surprised.

I am surprise that he and his family didn't see this coming. When you live with monsters, they want you to join their lifestyle or else they will retaliate. Same with people who try to do away with drug dealers will find themselves a target. It really is a no win situation when your dealing with evil monsters. R.I.P ✝️. Condolences to the family and loved ones 🙏.

What a heartberaking story. Sadly I believe LE can not win the fight against drugs and drug related crime. Addiction is stronger, as long as there are ppl. asking for drugs there will be ruthless and cruel dealers/thugs out there doing anythig to get by.

When you want better for yourself and your kids, you just have to leave your neighborhood. I respect people who want to stay in their neighborhood and live a better life or try to clean it up but too often, those are the one who are killed. These kids lost their father. I just wished he picked up and moved 30-40 miles out the city. I left my hood and bought a home in a new city, nice community. Best decision ever. I can’t imagine raising my child where I grew up. No way. This is so sad but where he chose to live had everything to do with the chances of something like this happening to him.

@@lovelyp7439 you need to do more from outside your community. We can agree to disagree but I’m not living somewhere where I have to duck in my own house because of the constant shootings outside. You can’t even go to the gas station or to the local store without becoming a victim. I’m all for change and helping my community but not at the expense of my life or child’s life. Nipsey Hussle was making big changes in his neighborhood. He was gunned down in the same neighborhood he trying to help. Invest in your community but if you live in a dangerous area where you constantly ducking criminal activity, it’s not worth it. Can’t help your community if you can’t protect or help yourself first.

I can feel the parent’s pain oozing through the screen. I pray that his memory lives on and his children will always have a safe place. May the family find peace and comfort that surpasses understanding. May the community continue to stand for what is right, support each other and never allow devastation like that to happen again.
