This is an oscilloscope deconstruction of Hometown (ホームタウン) from Mega Man Battle Network 6.
Notes:
Oh Hometown, it's good to hear you one last time.
This version of Hometown has some similarities with the BN1 version that the other renditions lack. First, the main melody is in the same key as the original, something also shared with the BN4 version.
Second, there are a couple of phrases in square 1 and wave pattern that seem to be lifted directly from the originals, for instance at 1:09 and 1:34 there are some note sequences that start out the same as in BN1 before adding some new notes.
Meanwhile the first four notes in wave pattern are identical to those at the beginning of BN1's wave pattern, a pattern which is repeated a few more times afterwards. I think the rest of wave pattern also follows the same chord progression as the BN1 version, but I haven't checked.
