HOMESPOTTING (Part 6)!! Planes at 10,000 Feet! Awesome High Heavy Departures From Chicago O''Hare!!

Ойын-сауық

It's been a while since I've posted a homespotting video. But I'm happy to say that I finally gathered enough clips for a part 6. I was away at college the past 8 months which is the reason it took so long.
Most planes were the usual ANA 777-300ER, China Southern Cargo 777F, Atlas Air 747-400F. But there were a few European carriers thrown in the mix which I managed to get a good shot of. This includes the Air France
A350-900 twice, SAS A330-300 three times, CMA CGM AirCargo A330-200F, and many more!
In case you didn't know, I live in Libertyville which is about 18 miles north of ORD. Libertyville is in the departure path for Asia flights, not European flights. Asia flights will turn in my direction shortly after liftoff and 90 percent of the time proceed to fly directly overhead 5 minutes later. European flights are a bit different given that upon liftoff, some flights, especially flights to Madrid or Lisbon, will make a sharp U turn and fly straight out over the lake without me ever seeing it from my house. Other flights will initially fly in my direction, then upon reaching Arlington Heights, turn slightly to the east and fly along the Lake Michigan coast allowing me to see it in the distance. It is rare, but sometimes they will fly straight at my location and make their slight east turn late enough to where it flies directly overhead. Every single European flight in this video I was able to catch as a result of this rare occurrence.

Amazing spotting! Glad you were able to catch some of them before they disappeared into the clouds. Also, very cool sound from that American 777-200 at 13:40.
