I work in a farm shop and we love dogs but we don't allow them in for hygiene reasons as we are selling food

The garden is looking fabulous! Looking fwd to seeing Tom cooking in the outdoor kitchen and you entertaining, and your outdoor lighting. 😊

The garden would look lovely with some climbing plants on your new fences - so many to choose from such as wisteria, clematis, roses etc. Also keep the plastic bags your cushions come in so you can pop them back in when storing them (even the best plastic storage boxes aren't 100% waterproof).

Barney always the star of the show, he is gorgeous 😅

I enjoy all your vlog's and videos Freya. When I think of the house and garden the way it was when you and Tom moved into the way it is now, the transformation is marvellous. You, Tom and Barney have the most beautiful home and garden, and I can't wait to see the garden complete. xx

The thing is we are all different and as someone that is very nervous of dogs I would chose a shop where I could relax.

Hi, my niece is the same she is terrified of dogs even though Barney is so friendly she couldnt go near him. So for us its good where we can go without worrying about her.

Unfortunately animal lovers expect others to be enthusiastic too. Not everyone wants a dog near them whether they are nervous or not. Sorry but it’s more about the dog than the house updates etc. A happy medium is required here.

Gorgeous garden, loved seeing it come together. Highly recommend lavender for your boarders, super easy to maintain, great scent and also super animal friendly. Also brings good luck to the home if you’re into old wives tales. Highly recommend a sink outside of you can opt to add one. Mint will grow wild, if you place it into the ground potted it will help manage it much better. I agree on places being more dog friendly, but appreciate not everyone likes dogs so has to be a happy balance. X

Gardens looking amazing - you might want to either take the lovely sofa cushions ‘in’ at night - or have a huge throw for them as birds will poop - and crawlies will leave marks. You can spray with a sketchers protector - will help

Re dog friendly…. I’ve been in cafes and restaurants where owners have not trained their dog or puppy. They were lifting their leg on tables and chairs. So I’m not a fan of restaurants that are “dog friendly “.

I have a few ornamental vases....you can use ...if the size is right a pint glass in the centre. You can add some branches in the bigger ones and a small bunch of roses or tulips in the smaller range...I have also in the past used a plastic water bottle... different sizes again...and if all else fails....do a couple of linings with clear cellophane. Wrap a piece of fresh oasis. And carefully drop into the bigger ornamental vase and add your fresh flowers in ..just take care not to overdo fill any waters in either ideas. 😊

The bigger Hollies ship does have a bit of a garden section. We got some gorgeous white lavender from there xx

That’s a lot of plants for one area - they are all going to grow and spread - you need to give them more room to do that - you need to take a quarter away and use somewhere else

Making ‘nettle tea’ really can help some bad hay fever sufferers

100% ur videos deffo give that relaxed, chilled vibe ❤ Ah the stinging nettles im assuming because it would trigger your immune system to heal the sting and so maybe also helping the hay-fever symptoms 🤔🤷‍♀️

I don't know the technical terms but she had a strap on to stop her eating on the hack as she is a keep muncher!

Your garden is looking beautiful just wanted to give you abit of personal advice with regards to your lavernder I had to take mine out of my garden as my dog was allergic to it and had a terrible rash the vet knew soon as he saw him I had lavender in the garden so just be careful with Barney not sure if it's the same for all dogs

It is a pain them not being dog friendly. They have opened a little one in Tarporley again not dog friendly even though most places in Tarporley are dog friendly. I think they are alienating all our dog lovers!!! Especially in the summer you can’t leave them in the car because of the heat!!! Juxx
