Why are they widening the road? It doesn't look that busy. You should call "eminent domain" what it really is, theft.

@@justinratcliffe947 Unfortunately it’s actually written into the constitution under the 5th amendment. I agree it should be criminal. But how do we change an amendment and keep its integrity? Politicians nowadays would defile the 5th amendment anyway they could.

One dollar a square foot? The city officials should be charged with criminal cheating of citizens. Absolutely disgusting. Should of been at LEAST $40,000, or about $5/sq ft.

That women representing the city could care less. The first valuation was flawed, no one cares. I bet that woman representing the city doesn't even work there any more. Eminent domain laws need to change.
