    "E" lams and "I" lams, such a simple and clever design. Pulled so many apart as a teenager back in the 90s - prepare for battle with a flat blade driver, a thin edged knife and a mallet to peel those silicon steel lams off that baby and break them free of the resin. You'll find it quickest to locate all the "I" lams first, align the driver blade with them and then smack em on the end by whacking the driver with a mallet and knock them out, leaving a gap at the end of each "E" lam, which you can then exploit with the knife, to slide between them and break the bond of the resin and slide them out with great ease (usually!) It's easier to practice it than to have me explain it. All the best, God bless you, Happy Christmas! Matthew. :)

    Bardzo dobry pomysł! Tylko nie wiem, dlaczego te grube przewody z transformatora do grotu lutowniczego są takie długie! Nie wystarczyłoby zrobić długość króciutką, np. 2-3 cm? Krótsze przewody to i opór mniejszy, mniej strat. Łapką up, Like nr 458.

  • @SekAustria

    @SekAustria

    7 жыл бұрын

    +Raj Gj we cant use the transformer like it was, because it lacks of amperage. By building this project we need a low voltage output but high amperage. By modifying the transformers secondary and changing it to a thick wire and less turns in the coil it will produce high amperage but low in voltage. Hope it helps And dont forget to subscribe

    what's with the fake voice recording? the spool will melt after a series of solder, the same time the heat that it will generate is not enough for heavy duty soldering because of the small amount of wattage.

    Better build yourself from cheap chinese clones Hakko 936 or T12 handle, this seem too dangerous if you not careful, you can get that handle for USD2-3 and build the controller or buy the controller diy kit and use the transformer to power up the controller and the handle
