I used to make sausages at home but have not made any for a few years. I think I might do it again. One of my favourite sausage recipes was rabbit and smoked bacon.

Absolutely amazing the best sausages I've ever seen, I have tried making my own sausages before and its not as easy as Luba makes it look. She really is a great cook!

Your cooking looks delicious, well done

I hope you fried up a little bit of that sausage prior to stuffing the casings. Always best to taste a little bit of the sausage before it's stuffed so you can make slight changes if necessary. Also, pro tip: Chop up your garlic 24 hours in advance. Substitute a nice dry white wine in place of the water and soak your garlic in the white wine for at least 24 hours before adding it to the ground meat. Looks wonderful.

In The Netherlands we call it boerenworst :) But since the Dutch and Afrikaners have a history chapter in common it is not a surprise and a lot of Afrikaans makes some sense although we are using different words. A Braai would be in Dutch BBQ, but we all know that we use the BBQ to 'braad' some meat (in some dialects it isn't braden but braaien).
