Homemade Musical Instruments
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Musical instruments I made pretty quickly. First I'd make a box out of wood, an old piano or whatever. Then I just adding strings or things.
I wanted to be able to record some songs without effects (like reverb or tremolo) that would sound produced. I sang into the piano's soundboard, ect.

Building instruments is one of the greatest pleasures you can have, making and mastering your own creation is such a unique and special thing.
This 100% proves that it truly doesn't matter what instrument you use. What matters is if you've got that "soul" ...that feel for music.
This video is way underrated

I once built my own instrument, I called it a hydrosaxophone, as it was essentially a Pringles tube filled with water and a rubber glove. It was fragile but it sounded pretty unique

come to think of it, it was more like a bagpipe than a saxophone

0:22 That's the kind of wobbly sound you would hear on an album like Song Cycle by Van Dyke Parks. For those who like challenging albums from the late 60s, check that one out.
Music dont need money but skills needed

The cricket is just an altoids tin w/ a wooden frame and a single string. It's the easiest to make.

armando niave It's not hard at all! I made mine kind of decreative, but it's just a sturdy wooden box w/ an open bottom. There are sound holes on top, but most of the sound comes from the bottom. I used a guitar tuner to get the notes right. If you have any questions, just email me. I'd be happy to help!
I checked out some of your music (from the link in the description) and really liked it! However, around 0:45 in the song "Myself", the low, piano-like tone sounded a bit out of tune with the other instruments.

Thanks so much! Who needs education? We all imagine, build and play. We are all capable of extraordinary things, even if they feel unremarkable because they come naturally. Thanks for watching!
