@@craftsmancollaborative keep at it, I wish I had the patience and attention to detail to take on something like that. I'd love to pop top my wagoneer have you done anything to the chassis as far as stiffeners or bracing?

@@artardFTW don’t get me started on wanting a wagoneer 🫣 👀 The XJ does have DIY bumper to bumper stiffeners, a professional 8-point cage, and some other bracing. I’ll have to do a video on it all - there’s one short on my channel that shows a glimpse:

Great video series! Have you considered getting the VidIQ extension? It's free and can really go a long way in helping with SEO to reach a larger audience. Also, what did you do to the XJ to keep the integrity of the unibody when you cut the roof off? I want to do exactly what you are doing for the next step of developing my jeep camper. Thank you for the production.

DIY unibody stiffeners, 8 point roll cage tie-in, and a few other reinforcements. Will release a video down the line showing all of these 👊

what size compressor did you use on that paint gun? Do you think this process will work on a 1972 Blazer fiberglass top? Nice job by the way

This set up was with a 30 Gallon Oiled Compressor - which is the minimum size I’d recommend. As far as going to work on a ‘72 blazer that all depends on if you’re trying to repair the factory hardtop, make your own hard top, or make a Poptop to fit on the hardtop…?

@@HectorHernandez-ns2zi tbh check out the bondo fiberglass filler (bondo glass) for anything not too structural. It is alot better to sand down to shape and do a bodyhwork style repair with the strength of fiberglass.
