    Also a tip for beeswax - buy it from your own country as you don’t know if the hive has been sprayed with chemicals, Aussie Soap Supplies are safe and so are Bramble berry - I don’t recommend eBay or amazon and this works amazing for my sons eczema and I sell it also even before I saw this and have had heaps of great feedback plus I’m a Aromatherapist and naturopath I have a butterfly garden a Aromatherapy Garden and a fruit n veg garden.

    We just filmed another video with Krista about the benefits of yarrow, which grows like a weed everywhere. She makes a powder for cuts which disinfects and seals the wound. She also makes an anti-fever tea with it. It should be online soon. By the way, Krista says thanks you for the nice words :)

    One of the few videos that kept it simple. The only thing I would include is the ingredient amounts. 730 grams of seeds produces about how many ounces of hemp seed oil and after adding beeswax about how many ounces of product. I am sharing this video now. Nice job and keep the duo going.

    Thanks for the kind words. Krista was glad that someone is finding her videos interesting - she's studied herbs a long time but isn't used to being on camera. She's coming in today to film a video showing how to make a salve to treat stings and bites. It should be online in a few days.

    thank you for sharing such interesting recipes we can do with the oil extractor. I am interested to see how Krista does the tinctures, does the process involve the oil extractor too?

  • @euJUICERScom

    @euJUICERScom

    Жыл бұрын

    To make tinctures, Krista gathers the herbs, dries them in a dehydrator, grinds them (usually with the juicer), and then mixes it with alchohol (usually 42% vodka) and lets it sit for 6-8 weeks. You can see more details here: kristasherbarium.com/

    I wonder what will happen if your put thinly sliced (so that it will fit) carrots in the oil extractor, and if you would get a better yield comparing to the juicing attachment

  • @euJUICERScom

    @euJUICERScom

    I've never tried it. Most likely it would back up, because the "juicing" chamber is so small and the slots where the oil comes out are very narrow. That back pressure might also cause the juice to heat up.

    also what other parts of the herbs can go through the oil extractor? Can I try do the mint/basil water with it?

  • @euJUICERScom

    Only the seeds can go through the oil extractor. It is designed to work with seeds and some nuts.

    That's a good idea. We only showed the liquid form. Next time we'll show it actually being applied to the skin, so the consistency will be visible.
