I usually put a few cloves in the water and a few dry orange peel and let that boil. I wash and blend my ginger and leave it for overnight and strain and add my sugar and fresh lemon or lime.

Thanks, lovely & tasty, I would add honey instead of sugar & more lemon/lime juice. I would heat a bit some of the ginger with water, cool till warm then add the honey, let it rest as you did for few hrs or overnight or more up to 2/3 days, then add the lemon & lime juice as preferred inc the fine grated zest as preferred, then 1/2 - 2 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda depending on the quantity of the ginger beer. Stir bottle, jar up, refrigerate, drink! You've inspired me to make some ☺🍹

Hello I really enjoy your video , I really didn't know you can blend it also so just learn something there , but one of my sister in laws was making it years ago and I remember her cutting the ginger and putting it in a plastic bucket then she added the Citrone sour and sugar vanilla essence and added a pot of boiling water which made all the difference to the flavoring then it was covered for a whole night and strained out the next day , so maybe there many ways to make it , and by the way while I was watching your video I went and made some hahaha and it taste nice so thanks for that inspiration right , love &joy to you tskecare ,ciao

I eat he'd you make your ginger beer, I think you left out the cinnamon and clove. Just maybe 2 cloves and 2 sticks of cinnamon. And believe me, cover tightly and leave it for about 24 to 48 hours before drinking it, you'll find it will taste better.

My mom told us that it makes it harsher/hotter. If you notice the White substance that settles below that is what we call the hash. Just like with beer, it takes time to mature, same with ginger. We call it ginger beer.

The process is called Fermentation.... Ginger beer is a naturally fizzy beverage with a sweet and spicy bite. Grated ginger is fermented to allow the natural yeasts in ginger to feed and multiply, creating a probiotic beverage 😊
