I LOVE The story about your Gma saying God provides what you need! I learned that for myself this year! Wild lettuce is most abundant in my yard. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Constant pain is just one of the things I deal with. I planted Echinacea and chamomile last year and they are doing well. This is why brought me to your video. I am just learning about herbs and am fascinated! I have an app on my phone called picture this, that helps my to learn what the plants I find are. I was excited to find St Johns Wart in the field out back!! It's amazing, the wonderful herbs God provides!!

Hi! I also use that app, however, sometimes it did not work when I was hiking in the mountains. I had a small book about the local herbs for New England area which helped to identify. I made wild lettuce medicine last year, and accidentally burned it while reducing the juice. Sadly it was unusable.

Wonderful coming across your channel...I grew up with an OMA who I adored, she baked ...she grew her garden at the edge of town on a rented piece of land, weekends were spent weeding and caring for the garden sleeping there on occasions ...and me riding there on her bicycle handlebars,I was so nurtured and learned so much...she was my inspiration as a child ...to me she knew EVERYTHING.and I also remember her making Cremes and balms from chamomile ....she is long since gone but her wisdom has stayed with me and my own love of nature and the earth...my own garden my own Cremes all came from her...something to pass down to my children and grandchildren...they call me the good witch lol but sometimes the old ways are the best...stay blessed and thank you for sharing what you know...

I finally have enough growing I feel comfortable using some for tinctures. I have mostly 2 and 3 year plants along with a lot of one years popping up here and there. Have you used the root snd if so do you go for minimum 2 year? I also wonder if the root tincture more potent or maybe a mix of them.

I don’t drink alcohol so I was hesitant to do tinctures. Now knowing I can use your method of water and waiting I can make tinctures using alcohol. That little glass you had, can you tell me where you purchased it? Thank you and glad I found your channel. Do you keep vodka in freezer? What brand name of vodka is good to use for tinctures? Thanks again.

Hi! Thank you! I don't think there is a golden standard for tincture dosage. I am not prescribing, just sharing how much I take... for preventative about 30 drops daily (which is about a whole dropper) , when sick i take it 3 times a day. Some herbalist recommend 1 drop per every 2 lb of body weight.
