Homemade Drawing Salve Recipe (And Its Benefits!)

Find out more information about this homemade drawing salve on my website here: draxe.com/homemade-drawing-sa...
A homemade drawing salve is a blend of ingredients that create a topical ointment to help relieve insect bites, splinters, boils and skin inflammation. A drawing salve can also be referred to as black salve and is known to pull out foreign objects and impurities by softening the skin.
What makes this homemade drawing salve so beneficial is that you can control the ingredients and essential oils you put in it to ensure that it is not only safe but also effective. This drawing salve is a must-have in your first aid kit.

Hello. Can you tell me how you decided to use this? I saw a video of a dermatologist saying it may just kill the top and not the bottom of a skin cancer. I would like to use it if I need to in the future and I'm just trying to get information. Thank you!

The black salve used for skin cancer contains other ingredients, eg bloodroot - so more potent (more dangerous & potentially more effective).

the recipe sounds legit, i have no doubt it's gonna make a good and effective ointment. i'd throw in some a little still white and sticky pine resin, but that's just personal taste. honestly tho', this is not how activated charcoal works. it absorbs what ever compounds bind to it's huge surface, and after the salve has sat for a bit, it will be saturated and innert, and has sucked up active some potentially helpful compounds from the preparation, rendering it useless at best. bentonite on the other can absorb a lot of water, effectively turning the ointment into something close to an antimicrobial hydrocolloid dressing, when a wound weeps moist ichor. i never thought about that use, but this is a brilliant idea!

Trying to find a way to make a poultice at home- because we typically use Animalintex - and there is a shortage. The main ingredients for this (used for horse hoof abscess) are: Tragacanth 6.02g/pad, Boric Acid 2.08 g/pad. Is there something we can use at home to help make a similar poultice?

I put black salve on an open wound. This was a crusty scab that kept forming on my leg. It has been on 3 days and is very red and hurts a little. Do you think it might be infected? Should I just wait some more days? I take showers every day and I’ve been putting Hydrogen Peroxide on it. What do you recommend?

Its shelf life will be determined by the ingredient with the shortest date. For example if your aloe vera juice says use within 6 months you can only be sure what you have made is good for 6 months.

I to have these skin problems a long with cysts and blemishes and I've learned they are all caused more by what I eat than anything else. So you might want to clean up your diet. I make many fresh juices. Eat mostly fresh vegetables and fruit my skin only breaks out when I eat processed food junk food or food prepared in take out restaurants. I ate a hot link yesterday and out popped a cyst along with a few pimples

Pink eye is basically clogged tear ducts. Cut a white onion and that will open them naturally and cause you to tear. That's what you want. It won't hurt!! BTW, DON'T put any of it on or in your eyes, just cut the onion and then cook and eat it in your next meal.
