Homemade China Cymbal. D I Y.
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is the China Gong!! Homemade Effects Cymbal.
In This Video I tried something different and started off with a 22 inch 1/16 thick aluminum circle that I cut out of a sheet. Which I call my Cymbal blank.
It was really easy to do, I think anyone could do it if they try.

Thank you, really means alot.
There's something satisfying about watching that metal getting hammered into a cymbal. I think you have good skills as a cymbal maker. If this were a sheet of B20 bronze it would be interesting.
Definitely not the sound I was expecting...
eat,beats,sleep ,repeat...never stop playing❤❤❤nice man!!!
10:30 Sounds like crap to me but it was a good try.
Nice job brother, I love your playing skills and how you incorporated the effect cymbal with everything else!! Awesome vid ✌🏼😎👍🏼

Nice hammer work. Good job.
since i saw your first video i fantasize with the idea of a mega bell ride..and then i saw this china.. i'm pretty sure that a long bell ride can make a huge improve to the metal genre, and for the kind of metal that you are using, i'm just here to tell you that you should try it .. thanks for the video man!

Now THATS a trash crash! Bravo
That’s my uncle 😏
it sounds like you used too thick of stock for the sound normally expected of a china cymbal, you probably want something more like 19 or 20 gauge stainless steel. the 14 gauge aluminum stock you used would probably be more appropriate for a flat ride or some very very dry hihats.

that being said, the shaping work is pretty impressive, very even looking tension and symmetrical profile.

I definitely agree, the material used was to thick and that played a big part in how it sounded. I have future videos coming up where I use actually cymbal blanks. Thanks for commenting, please consider subscribing if you're not already!
Try drilling some holes in that thing and then stacking it
