Feathers need to be wet dip in hot water first then they will come off easier. Grew up the hard part was plucking the feathers

Feathers were dipped in hot water he had a bucket behind him he was doing it before he started using the plucker. Yes I used to help with the plucking as a young girl. Thanks for watching
