The purpose of this video is to bring out the importance of some accessories that would improve our upholstery professional job to a next level.
Many of us, car trimmers are reluctant to get updated in the use of useful attachments. We want to keep on doing the same way we learnt many years ago. I mean doing things by eye or at guess.
As I mentioned before there are sewing machines (carpet binders) especially made out to do binding. Some devices are also sold to be adapted to our regular sewing machines.
Before buying one of these special binding machines with accesories included I wanted to do one homemade piece of my creation to verify how useful these attachments make the binding process easier.
Besides, to arouse in my students the spirit of innovation and being updated to get better outcomes in their upholstery jobs.
I hope you enjoy and find some inspiration in this video!
Cesar

Cechaflo, I l love watching your videos. My father rest his soul, was a sewing machine mechanic and made folders to guide the fabrics in some complicated ways, to speed up sewing at the factories, he was quite the designer of this. Watching you work as you did in this video, brought much fond memories of my dad. Thankyou ♥️

No vendo aditamentos, solamente hago tapicería.

@Cechaflo perfect, thank you, i am new to auto upholstery but learning alot from you....I have been looking at a Sailrite for a bit but I was leaning more towards a Cowdoy or Cobra, but a used industrial Pfaff i think may be more reasonable. I am trying to find something that can handle UP to 1 thru 7 ounce leather/vinyl/canvas for folds. Those older industrial Pfaff's are great. Did you put a Servo on your model?
