Homemade 7 up Cream Cheese Lemon Pound Cake. This 7up cream cheese pound cake can be made with either 7up or Sprite. This cake is moist, flavorful and delicious. Give it a try for the holidays or any day.

Ingredients - All ingredients are Room Temperature
8 oz of unsalted butter
8 oz of cream cheese
2 and 1/2 cups of white sugar
6 Eggs, room temperature
2 and 1/2 teaspoons of lemon extract
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
3 cups of All purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
8 oz of fresh 7 up or Sprite
ALL ROOM TEMPERATURE
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees
Prepare your tube or bundt pan with baking spray or butter and flour
In a large bowl combine the butter and cream cheese until fluffy
Then add in sugar and beat until fluffy
Then add the eggs, one at time, beat in between until they disappear
Scrape your bowl
Then continue beating and add the extracts
Scrape the bowl again
Sift the flour salt and baking powder together,
Add the flour mixture to your bowl with the 7 up or sprite, starting and ending with flour.
Scrape the bowl again.
Pour your mixture into your baking pan
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes until your testing stick comes out clean and it is done.

@@StephaniesKitchen I’m up getting ready to take my eggs out to come to room temperature, because I’m baking my second cake today. I do have to say, I used ginger ale soda instead because I did not have 7up. I also made a strawberry sauce for it. But the cake was so good, half of who I shared it with didn’t want the sauce😆🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽

Beautiful cake. When I use my two piece tube pan, I us the round parchment paper liner and it works like a charm. Fits over the bottom and you'll have no leakages. I love to bake as well (Pound cakes)

@ L Boston... I have 6 different cake pans... I really want the angel food 2piece pan it's makes a nice tall cake ion feel like all the extra things you have to do to prevent leakage in my stove... So I'm undecided about purchasing one , but I loveeeee to bake!!!

Found your channel while looking for how to make sweet potato pies. I bake cakes but never made a sweet potato pies.

Thanks for watching. I have several versions of my pies because the first one was the first time I was on KZread and I didn't get enough time to finish it. So last year year around November or December I did it over again. Also, my pie doesn't have the spices that other pies have. I've had discussions about that, LOL!
