Growing and smoking cannabis, 50 years now. Finally legalized. Home growers, put the dispensaries out of business. Had medical license 8 years now, and it is very expensive for seniors and the disabled. Thank God Minnesota finally did something smart.

You should see what our dispensaries charge for CBD/Hemp! It's more than what other states charge for 30%/THC weed. MN's "system" ($$$) is going to create a blackhole for growers who won't make any money bc ppl aren't gonna pay $200-300/oz. I can get CBD for $30/oz or THC for

I love hearing stories like this. I live in California. I've always liked cannabis. Since a young age. I didn't start growing my own until 2018. I now work full-time as a cultivator technician at a cannabis indoor grow facility located in northern california. Honestly, growing at home has always been the best for me. I usually grow 3 plants and always have plenty of flowers to share.

If Minnesota had more dispensarys it would be going a lot better but all the red tape and lack of state cooperation is slowing the industry down

During the cold plunge and exercise, Im listening to audiobooks. I just finished mans search for meaning. I'm a self employed day trader, father of two, and have a beautiful wife. I smoke an ounce of wax about every two weeks and still maintain a carnivore diet with intermittent fasting session of 16 hours. Stereotypes are funny in movies, but rarely translate to reality. You are not living in reality. Not even going to assume or judge you on how you carry yourself, but how you present your opinions is unhealthy.

Farm Bill of 2018 legalized HEMP and definied marijuana as having greater than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. The plant, until smoked and provided you've handled it properly, doesn't contain ANY DELTA 9 THC!! D9 is illegal, THCa is not.

Probably has to do with law enforcement. If they stop you or come to your home, if they see evidence of "illegal" activity they can investigate further. So if you got your plant growing in the dining room that you can see from the front lawn, cops can pursue a warrant. Also about keeping children safe... Community... Blah... Blah... Blah... If they can't see or smell it it doesn't exist.

i miss the quality of weed that cane from Minnesota..... can we bring back the growers that brought us 2009-2015 crops?? it was ACTUALLY decent buds, far surpassing the quality that california and oregon had.

The whole drug situation is lost. Legalizing or not legalizing drug use has little impact on its' usage. People will consume them anyway.On the other hand legalizing marijuana, the least dangerous of drugs, has resulted in an increase in usage. What a mess.

You can legally sell your cannabis, does not apply to anything but a legal private grow. Minnesota Consitution Article 13, Section 7. NO LICENSE REQUIRED TO PEDDLE. Any person may sell or peddle the products of the farm or garden occupied and cultivated by him without obtaining a license therefor.

You guys are growing this all wrong. In the 80's I would grow 4 plants and my harvest could last me 2.5 years. You don't cram them together and grow bushes. You grow them spaced out and upright. Once they're 4'-5' tall, you begin the slow process of bending the tops over to the ground with a string tied to a 2 liter pop bottle full of water. (Towards the corners of the room.) Why? Each branch then begins to think it is the top and grows accordingly. Yield, people, yield.

Glad they have something but patients should have access to surgically cultivated cannabis. Here in Cali we have all kinds of edible drinks,gummies,cookies etc so you don't always have to hurt your lungs, it's relatively cheap for flower and concentrate tapes ihope that comes to Minnesota one day too.

Yes, I get frustrated when I hear news about them cracking down on shops selling it. Saying they could fine them a million plus dollars for it. Then they outlawed thca and the delta 8 derived thcp, and all that other fun stuff and theyve still not licensed and approved a rec shop. And I'm still confused about the THCA being outlawed because I thought cannabis had THCA in it. I'm thinking of trying some old seeds i have kept around, try growing in a windowsill just to see how it goes.

It's legal recreationally. There just aren't any dispensaries open for 21+ adults. A few popped up on some reservations but I think gov't slammed down on them. Don't expect to legally buy until 2025/2026 unfortunately.
