    Hi loved your home. We are interested in moving to Edmonton next year. Can you kindly let me know which are the best locations in Edmonton for Indians. One more question about the winter weather, how many days are really bad in winter? When I am looking at temperature some days looks like not very cold like -2°c or so can you go out in those temperatures with kids?

  • @Razdans

    @Razdans

    2 жыл бұрын

    South east or south west side of city are good areas with decent Indian population. Kids get used to cold weather and yes you can go out with kids. There are few weeks which are terrible but other than that it's tolerable. Anyways there is nothing you can't do in -40 that you will be able to do in -20 so don't keep cold weather as your primary criteria.

    Will do! It is good time to invest in rental market as prices have been low since last some time. Plus being buyers market, you can negotiate quite a bit right now. Location is the key when it comes to rental property.

    Is it really worth it leaving everything(same lavish lifestyle and family, friends, contacts) in India? Cause in India we don't have to start from scratch but is it really worth it to study MBA at the university of Edmonton and permanently settle in Edmonton for life?

  • @Razdans

    @Razdans

    It depends on what you want from your life. If above mentioned are your only parameters, then it's not worth it. Everyone who lives abroad doesn't do it for money or lavish lifestyle. These things are easily attainable in India as well.

    Canada me medical help ke bare me bataiye, kuch videos me bahut dara dete hein ki aap ko fracture bhi ho jaye toh ghanto wait karo, rote raho, isme kya sachchai hai? Agar yeh sach hai toh aap sab kaise rahte hein ,kisi ko emergency hai kah ipain ho raha hai toh kaise manage karenge, padosi kitni help karte hein

    Ispe vistaar se video banani padegi...but jitna videos main batate hai utna bura haal bhi nahi hai. Haan time lagta hai but case to case basis pe priority milti hai...ek heart attack patient ho ya fracture ho to heart attack wale ko priority milegi. But wahi pet dard wala ho ya fracture to fracture ko milegi...its just that everyone thinks their problem is the biggest in the world.

Start networking with people in companies that have pipeline assets like Enbridge, Interpipeline, TC Energy etc. If you want to upgrade, go for thesis based masters. You have good chance of getting scholarship, work under some good professor on industry sponsored projects and then move into industry with some Canadian experience under your belt.
