Where did you get the nail?

For someone that has no clue about the story I’ll explain it for you. (( My English is crap but hear me out)) So this episode is about two girls that trained to be traditional Thai dancers (Naang-rum),Ratri and Thida and this two are sisters. Thida is the eldest sister, we can see in the picture that Tim found and know that she had some kind of scar(?) on her right side of her face. I think the game is trying to show that Ratri is actually prettier than Thida.But Thida is kind-hearted , hardworking and always practice her dancing everyday. Ratri (The ghost that chasing us) is the youngest sister , I think she is being spoiled by her grandma.She think she’s the most beautiful and talented in anyway and want to become the heroine of the show. So originally, this show has a heroine named Buaklee , the other members of the dance group. Ratri is jealous of Buaklee and wants to become the heroine instead of her. She did the blessing with the very effective ghost at the tree , that her grandma once told her so. And then promised to dance in front of that tree , naked. After that, Buaklee disappeared. ( There is rumor that she went after her man or smth , I’m not sure) Ratri is so glad and now the heroine place is waiting for her. But then the teacher choose Thida instead. Because Thida is hardworking and actually improving ever since. Ratri is really mad and want to get rid of Thida. Ratri and Ming steal some of the golds that belongs to the grandma and blame Thida for it. Grandma believed her , try to ask Thida where some of them are but she obviously has no clue about this and doesn’t know where they are, finally grandma decides to cut her right arm off for punishment and she dies aftherwards. (This scene where grandma punishes her is the specific event or the bonus quest of the game) Then we see the cutscene that is the continuation after Thida died. Ratri and Ming are talking about their successful plan. At the left side of the screen , that is the ghost (or the blessing) observe their doings. Ming try to tell Ratri that it’s their own work and didn’t believe the blessing, he actually looks like try to harass Ratri.But then she begins to scream and her body is twisting in weird shape. Ming who also scared of that situation run away and left her. ( How he is now is mysterious, but I think he died) That is because Ratri didn’t keep her promise and thought that the plan is successful because of her own doings. We can see the note said that this thoughts or ideas are really dangerous. Even though you did it on your own , you still have to do the offering. So this is the fun fact - The wooden mannequin(The ones that point to the dancer mannequins or things in the game) is actually ‘Thida’s spirit’. She tells you which dancer mannequins will Ratri possess and harm you. She actually helps you throughout the game. To teleport to the other rooms , to guide you to some of the golds that were missing(the side story of Thida). - When you finish the cutscene where Thida got her arm cut off , the light will flicker and then there’s Ratri trys to chase us. If you go to Thida’s room(the nearest room from where you are at that moment ). Ratri can’t chase you because (I think) Thida’s spirit is in that room(Because she died in her own room.) and protect you , also the room is Thida’s territory. If you observe the room , you’ll see there’s blood in her room(duh) , the picture of Thida , her right arm and the gold at the upper right side of her bed. Ps. My English is really crap , please don’t @ me about it ,,,

Nice translation! But at one of scene, where the "elder" sister were to be blamed by the broken daddy's fav doll. The elder sis got blamed didn't she? And grandpa was blaming her not dancing as well as her little sister.

Pretty good! One correction on plot though. It was the teacher's wife that cut off Tida's arm and killed her. Not the grandma.

Finally a no commentary it is the best one

I Agree.

At boss fighting, you need to observe where mannequin points its finger. That pointed dancer mannequin is real one possessed by dancer ghost.

Thank you for the upload . But Gosh I was almost laughing to death at 1:15:35 with Ren&Stimpy suddenly showed up on the screen. You got a like and a subs for that.

thank goodness for this no commentary videos. Feels like a horror movie this way. :)

I literally love the game with the sad story just like Thida part of her story, I've watched @H20Delirious play this "Home Sweet Home 1 & Home Sweet Home 2".. And it's really hilarious 😂 🤣 to watch him play, yaa don't feel scare when yaa watching him play the Home Sweet Home 2.

I have like no idea what the Hell kind of mindfuck happened at the end of Part 1. I noticed the fingernails right away and realized Tim had turned into Jane. But the puppet snuck up and the puppet was Jane too. That was incredibly disorienting. :P

I feel like Jane is going up against something far bigger than Ratri.

Episode 1 is about some Thai university student who is romantically obsessed with some guy and tries to jinx both him and his girlfriend. Episode 2 is about the two sisters, Tida and Ratri.

I think when Ratri prayed at the shrine (47:03) she didn't leave an offering, which made the spirits angry, so their 'offering' was her body for payment. (1:49:16)

​@@ungodly Yes that correct, Ratri have no intention to paid the offering she promise ( Dancing Naked in front of the shine ) there no need to paid the offering during the praying tho but it is absolutely required once the wish is fulfilled. so the landgod/landspirit took her life aways. At the end after boss fight, you can found her dancing in front of the the landspirit the one with green eye watching atop the shine

Older I believe. Basically got jelous of sisters talent and tried to pray to the spirits for the lead. When it failed she framed her for stealing and shortly after got posessed because she didnt leave an offering and had an ugly inside.

​@@DarrellHenderson No one know yet sir, some of us Thai already theorize that it is related to lunar eclipse in some way ( developer already praise one guy for bring so good at deduct and connect event together before hinting the eclipse that the guy missing in his full theory about game hint ) The event that took place during the fight with Ratri is during lunar eclipse and there another two event that happen during lunar eclipse in the first game. one where the cutter girl died and another one where the biker gang died and become a "Preta" giant ghost. Both of the event bring show in the newspaper along with the eclipse picture another clue is the red holy thread which is use for cursing, what cutter girl and biker gang have in common is the practice of black magic - cutter girl ask voodoo doctor to do it for her ( before do it herself in the end with the nail curse ) - biker gang have a large tattoo that is well known as some sort of sacred tattoo bring implant on his arm and is imply to come from the very same voodoo doctor" at first I thought Jane is the younger sister too, but apperently the one arm manequin is actually the younger sister trying to show Tim how she died in this house and help him fight against Ratri so I start to doubt this reincarnation theory ( but don't rule it out yet as reincarnation concept is heavily believe in Asia )

ungodly i think ratri is the youngest sister... you can check the dad's letter to tida at 1:48:09 "You and your sister have been dancin together since you were very young. RATRI HAS ALWAYS TAKEN TOO MUCH PRIDE IN HER APPEARANCE and has expected that to carry her. But you (tida) have always worked garrer and continued to push yourself" Since tida always mistreated with her granny and the granny really love the youngest. Its make sense now :D and check the conversation ratri with the male teacher at 1:00:52 "Stuck with the thought that your beauty will get you what you want" it shows that ratri really to much pride in her appearance like dad's letter says..
