You will reap the rewards for home schooling your kids. After I found my daughter was being bullied by students and teachers, I started her in homeschooling. She would bring her books (no computers then) when we took day trips to museums, historic spots, art exhibits and places that seemed interesting. As the months went by she grew more confident and outgoing. After getting high SAT marks, I knew homeschooling was the best decision i ever made to help my child excel.

Kids in public schools end up ignorant because they’re bored.

Absolutely. I hated every day of school because I was so bored. Spent all my time drawing and trying my best not to pay attention to anything the teacher had to say.

Very cool. This is my style of homeschooling more often than not. Got to keep track of their spam attention and pay attention to their signs of being tired or bored. When I do it, I notice they are learning efficiently. I was wondering if that big poliedric piece in front of you, that you rotate is decoration or part of the homeschool strategy. Thanks for sharing!

(Speaking as a native Taiwanese and Mandarin speaker) Dang....this is some GOOOD curriculum on ancient Chinese history. I don't believe any public school curriculums cover this. GREAT WORK Cardone Family :D

I'm at the end of my tether from pressure from the school to be a full time teacher. I'm not an academic and like a lot of parents right now I'm struggling. I'm seriously thinking of homeschooling now as opposed to this pressured distance learning. Did it affect you socially being away from the friends you might have made in 6th grade (I'm not sure what the equivalent of that is in the UK)?

@brutaly honest RJ I honestly preferred it. I was a loner growing up,never really did fit in with anyone. Only child with parents born in 33 and 34 most of my friends were older. The only advice I give is if you home school your child/children, make them active in social things. Otherwise they will struggle socially when they get out in the world

@@Mistressillyanna I was awkward socially to people my own age to begin with. I could identify with someone my parents age easier than my own. My opinion if you do home school your children involve them in social things were they have to work together with children their own age

When my three beautiful daughters were young, I first thought them to speak, read and write Spanish, (and used dictionaries) along with English, it was easy for all of us.

Oh wow, my daughter is two next month. Her mom's an educator but I look forward to helping with homework. I'm currently hours away from my family. I call it house trapping 😆.. Living in an abandominium trying to make the dream happen. #building rentals.
