7:04 I was there, not even a fan of either team, was just there on business and decided to go to the game to kill an evening. I was LMAO when it happened. I was wearing a Buffalo Bills hat, and an AFC Wimbledon jersey so I’m sure the fans around me thought I was nuts.

25th pitch of the game in the bottom of the first inning. Senga allowed three runners, but no runs in the top of the first. Remember disdain as a Cards fan when Nimmo banged.

I find it strange the Schwarber leads off. He is their top hr hitter, he should bat farther down the order. He’s not much of a speed guy either. If they simply walked him, he’d clog up the bases with his lack of speed.

126 BB and a near .350 OBP likely has something to do with it. Marsh was a better OBP option for the season, but Schwarber has the higher numbers for career. Other than Harper, he represents the Phillies best chance to start the game with a runner on base. The 50HR pop is just a bonus.
