"Home Run Derby" was a syndicated program filmed in late 1959/early 1960. The 26 episodes were filmed at Wrigley Field in Los Angeles. This video is from a series marathon that aired on Classic Sports Network on September 29, 1996 with Cleveland Indians outfielder Albert Belle as a guest host. Los Angeles Dodgers sportscaster Ross Porter voiced new narratives for the opening and closing credits.

    Ken Boyer was a Cadrinals favorite of mine you could always count on to hit around 24 homers each season. Henry Aaron though one of the greatest home run hitters ever. This home run derby just a little before my time since my baseball memories seem to start in 1960.
