    The yield doesn't seem that good though. Looks like one watermelon per plant. A small one at that. I have personally, accidentally grown watermelon on my property and had many, huge, delicious watermelons per vine.

    ​@@aminashehu8628 Re-read my post. I literally didn't do anything special. They grew by accident. Me and my kids ate watermelon we bought at the local grocery store and spit the seeds out in the yard. Next thing we knew, there was watermelon plants growing. So, we didn't mow that area and let them grow. No fertilizer, but we did water occasionally. Within a few months, we had probably a couple hundred large, sweet, crisp melons. They were delicious for our family and we gave tons away to friends. Maybe we just got lucky, I'm not sure, as it was the first and last time we ever grew watermelons.
