Dana says- I did too. It's incredibly beautiful and intimate to see the Holy Spirit moving someone's heart and soul and feel the same stirring in yourself. Getting to worship a God who created everything in existence and yet loves us so individually, is such an amazing gift.

I'm almost afraid to post this comment after reading the first few, but I will say it. I am not a Christian, and I love this version of this hymn anyway. The musical quality and pure beauty of it were enough to make me cry the first time I heard it as well. For a Christian, it must be twice as emotional. Don't apologize for your tears or your beliefs, they're both beautiful things. Thanks for reacting.❤

Home Free brings me to my knees....and you need to listen to 'do you hear what i hear' --- do it!!!

No need to apologize my sister in Christ. I am a 59 year old white man from Texas and this song brought tears to these old eyes. The FATHER, the SON and the HOLY GHOST are everything to me and I am not ashamed to admit it. The Bible tells us that GOD made everyone of us in HIS likeness. So why do we draw racial lines, racial barriers ? I don't believe our FATHER in Heaven wants us to do anything but love one another and help one another. So never apologize about your faith. God bless.

Browsing through several of the comments below I see that almost everyone felt what you and I felt as Home Free delivered this song with the anointing of God. I'm a 68 year old Christian man and I've viewed this song by them multiple times and am blessed EVERY time I hear it. God bless you.

With Adam singing the 5 part male harmony is so rich and strong with faith. It was filmed in the Swiss Alps when they were there for a competition. The mix of the scene and sound is warm to my soul. Never apologize on my account. I cried the first 25 times or so I heard this too!

That was my mother's favorite hymn. She passed long before there was Home Free. Her favorite rendition was by Elvis Presley. I teared up with you girl.

New Subscriber!!! : ) First off I want to say...DON'T YOU DARE APOLOGIZE!! :) When the Spirit hits you, you react. Simple as that! I have trouble with people that can hear that song and NOT react pretty much the same way, especially this version. This was the song/video that turned me into a Home Fry. After this I was HOOKED! But I have always felt that this is one of the 2 greatest songs EVER written. The other is "Amazing Grace" and to hear them do it with Peter Hollens will I Guarantee get the waterworks started flowing again. It's fun in this video to see the beatboxer, Adam Rupp, sing a solo (he doesn't do many) on "It Is Well". As you have come to realize, these guys are Phenomenal!!!! Glad to join the family and looking forward to some awesome content! I'm going to go ahead and welcome you to the Home Fry Family too!! :) See ya in the next video!!

I heard this shortly after it came out and I cry every time I hear it. There are no words for Home Free’s vocal abilities. Never hide your feelings, it’s ok to cry to this or any song if it touches your heart. I am a Christian and a music lover. This song with the backdrop of the mountains is a heart grabber. Oh, and by the way, I’m a 56 year old man.

I'm watching this on a Sunday and our church is closed temporarily, due to covid. But...Home Free just took me to church. What a wonderful Savior I serve! What a most wonderful reaction!!

You can not listen to this song and not feel gods love. In troubled times like these, this song should played everywhere. And don't be afraid to show your year of joyfulness.
