Never doubt this group. no matter what genre they take on. They took Keith Urban's Blue Ain't Your Color, and gave it a Motown vibe. Really outstanding with the Temptations moves and all. All of these guys can sing, and they can all beat box. Not anywhere near the talent that their beat boxer has, but they can do a decent job. There's also no ego's involved with this group. They don't have a lead singer, they all take turns with the lead, depending on the song choice. Here's the line up: Rob Lundquist (big bearded guy) took the lead on this. Tim Foust (the bass with a 5+ octave vocal range) Austin Brown (guy with the long reddish hair) High Tenor Adam Rupp is their beat boxer He is (voted by his peer's no less) a 2 x world champion beat boxer. Adam Chance aka Chance (who was standing in the back next to the beat boxer) in their Baritone/ bass with a 4 octave vocal range. Great reaction, guys! Keep them coming. Just subscribed!

Rob Lundquist took the lead in this one. Home Free is like a really good chain -- there are no weak links. People call it a rabbit hole, but to me Home Free is a squirrel's nest because it is full of NUTZ! They are such a fun group and their videos show it. Please do more Home Free and Pentatonix.

If you like great harmonies, then you're at the right station! Covers are such that people insist on comparing them to the originals..... Though that may be somewhat necessary (for referencing) we simply can and should enjoy the music and how it affects us. Home Free is known for their cover of a myriad of genres. There is so much diversity of Home Free's stuff that once begun to enjoy, you are sure to become full fledged 'Home Fries!' All the members of Home Free have great senses of humor and some of their videos will keep you in stitches! Great reactions, gentlemen, and may I humbly suggest 'Helplessly Hoping' (CSN Cover) and especially, 'When A Man Loves A Woman' with your significant other. (Just don't let her watch it alone!) I look forward to your reviews of all good music.

I highly recommend you react to more Home Free videos. The fries (Home Fries are Home Free fans) will come running. In order from left to right you have: Tim Foust, bass (with a 5 octave range so sings where he wants). He cut his hair short last year. Joined in 2012. From southeast Texas. Adam Rupp, beatboxer extraordinaire. Founded the group along with his brother Chris (tenor) who left the group in 2016. From Minnesota. Rob Lundquist (aka The Beard), tenor. Shines in this song. Joined in 2008. Also from Minnesota. Adam Chance, baritone (but can sing bass). Joined in 2016 to replace Chris. Goes by "Chance" to avoid confusion with Adam Rupp. From Alabama. Austin Brown, high tenor. Joined in 2013. Amazing high notes. From southern Georgia. Here's some good ones to react to: Man of Constant Sorrow Hillbilly Bone Butts Remix (hilarious) Folsom Prison Blues Meet in the Middle Honey, I'm Good (hilarious video) How Great Thou Art (best I've ever heard this hymn sung by a quintet) Elvira (sung with the Oak Ridge Boys) Mayday (don't react to this until you have a few other Home Free videos done; it will be worth the wait) Snowglobe (same as Mayday) The Gambler Life is a Highway Some Girls Do Die A Happy Man Why Not Sea Shanty Medley Helplessly Hoping I Swear I Like the Sound of That Diamond Dreams Love Train I could add a lot more and the list is incomplete of course but I don't want you guys overwhelmed (but you will be.....)

IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject a little of their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 *I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off, & the fact that they are a Capella, definitely puts them on a completely different level of skill & talent* 💕

Okay lineup - Rob, first singer bearded guy tenor, 2nd singer Austin high tenor, Tim Foust bass singer is from Texas, Adam Rupp beatboxer (twice world beatboxing champion) and Adam Chance (called Chance to not confuse everyone) baritone. Homefree won Season 4 of the Sing-Off in 2013 rebranding themselves from just an acappella band to one specializing in country most of the time although as you can see they are not limited to country. Tim Foust, their bass singer, writes many of the originals they have done. They can be quite funny too in their shows. "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget" is one of those originals. Chris Rupp left Homefree a couple of years ago after many years with them and has worked with Tim Foust individually on The Long Black Train for example. This is where it starts to get really complicated to keep the singers and groups all straight. The big thing that connects all of them is a TV show called the Sing-Off for acappella bands that was on for 5 years like other tv competitions like The Voice. For example- Homefree tours around the world as Pentatonix does and joke that the difference between them is that Pentatonix is better dressed than they are. Pentatonix does pop music and won Season 3 of the Sing-Off in 2011. Homefree won Season 4 in 2013 of the same competition as a country music specializing band and have collaborated with Avi Kaplan from Pentatonix on Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" having both basses singing lead. They have a close relationship with Voiceplay as well who directly competed with them on Sing-Off season 4 and Geoff Castelluci (Voiceplay's bass singer) and Tim Foust joke around about bass singing a bit in Voiceplay's original song "Just Sing". Both bands also collaborated on "Zombies vs Hillbillies". Then more overlaps with the different groups take over. Peter Hollens (Sing-Off season 2) has sung with Homefree as a group and individually with both Avi Kaplan and Tim Foust. The Hound and the Fox have collaborated with both Tim Foust and Adam Chance individually. Avi Kaplan has left Pentatonix and is now a singer-songwriter who sings and plays guitar (gasp an instrument)!! He has toured with the members of Street Corner Symphony (Sing-Off season 2) and The Collective (Sing-Off season 3) but with their playing guitar, drums, piano etc on that tour in 2019. Kaleb Thomas Jones and Noah Denney touring with Avi Kaplan in 2020. Adam Chance, now the baritone with Homefree, was in Street Corner Symphony (Sing-Off season 2) before that. Chance has also played guitar while singing with The Hound and the Fox on occasion. Circling back - the Hound and the Fox just congratulated Avi Kaplan (Pentatonix Sing-Off season 3) on his latest original release last month "Song For the Thankful". Tim Foust and Austin Brown are collaborating with Straight No Chaser (another acappella band) for a couple of virtual concerts and Tim Foust and Daniel Ellsworth were recently talking about Street Corner Symphony's crowd funding the completion of their album for children. Daniel Ellsworth is also credited as a co-writer on Avi Kaplan's original songs I'll Get By and Sweet Adeline pt 2 released last year on Kaplan's E.P. entitled "I'll Get By". So it is a very tight knit community and yes you may need a diagram to figure out what is going on from time to time and who has worked with whom. The main point is they all like and support each other. The Streetcorner Symphony and Collective members (Jeremy Lister, Kaleb Thomas Jones, Daniel Ellsworth, Jonathan Lister), Homefree members (Tim Foust, Austin Brown) and Avi Kaplan all live in and around Nashville if that helps settle some of the confusion.

Man (men), just wait! The bass from Texas is Tim Foust and has a 5 octave range. Austin Brown is the guy with the long hair that sings high. The professor is Rob Lundquist who sings tenor. Adam Chance us from Alabama and sings baritone/bass primarily. Adam Rupp is the beat boxer and you not heard anything yet. Some country songs…”Elvira,” “Sold,” “Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget” an original, “Butts Medley,” “Go Rest High On That Mountain,” some songs with a message “Every One Walking This Land,” “One Voice,” and a couple of Christmas songs that are great any time of the year “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “O Holy Night,” and a new one “Snow Globe. One last edition is “God Bless The USA” with Lee Greenwood and the USAF Singing Seargents. So many others……

So glad you liked it. Home Free is the real deal. They won the NBC show the Sing Off and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. Tim Foust, is the bass and is from Texas. The lead singer (professor) with beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist, tenor. Reddish hair (2nd lead here) is Austin Brown. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer. Adam Chance is the baritone/bass. They are very talented. All of them can do some beatboxing too. They sing a lot of covers but they also write and sing their own stuff. And they aren’t afraid to be funny and goofy. They sing all genres, country, pop, gospel, R & B. Try Folsom Prison Blues, I Can’t Outrun You for bass. Butts Remix, Hillbilly Bone, Country Fried Pop Medley for fun. Have a good weekend! Great reaction!

I see you've reacted PTX Your next video which was my #1 (until I heard this one) Homefree's cover of Johnny Cashes Rong of Fire it features Avi Kaplan former PTX member and the bass of Tim and Avi who both have 4 or 5 octive ranges and together its like no other, Homefree's beatboxer Adam Rupp's performance in this has beatboxers around the world in awe. He's not human. They also do Folsom Prison Blues. Any one you pick is a treat and I love watching reactions of the first time a song is heard by Homefree to see if they feel the same as I did pretty much on every thing they've put out there. To a good idea of the range Tim Foust has, check out Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Or, a live version of Your Man by Josh Turner. Depending on the song, they'll take turns with the lead singing parts.

Individually these guys are great. Together they are amazing. Try Folsom Prison Blues cover. Another a capella group but sometimes more theatrical is Voiceplay. Try their cover of Carry On Wayward Son and the Oogie Boogie song from Nightmare before Christmas.
