@@f.n.schlub2269 Thanks for the information. Chance has what I'd define as a warm, mellow tone, that has a hint of well-aged whiskey mxed in, to give it a hint of smoke. Not as classy, clinical, or concise as "basso contabile", but I hope it gets the idea across.

Helplessly hoping her harlequin hovers Nearby awaiting a word Gasping at glimpses of gentle true spirit He runs wishing he could fly Only to trip at the sound of goodbye Wordlessly watching he waits by the window And wonders at the empty place inside Heartlessly helping himself to her bad dreams He worries did he hear a goodbye? Or even hello? They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other Stand by the stairway you'll see something certain To tell you confusion has its cost Love isn't lying it's loose in a lady Who lingers saying she is lost And choking on hello They are one person They are two alone They are three together They are for each other

If you like these harmonies, another great Crosby, Stills and Nash song is Judy Blue Eyes. I'm going to turn you on to another cover group called Foxes and Fossils. This group is made up of some old guys that have been musicians for many years, and one of the guy's daughters (and her friends). They sing a lot of old stuff and new stuff. Their cover of Judy Blue Eyes is the first recording they ever did, and it was in a restaurant. David Crosby saw the video and wrote a letter to Tim (the leader of the group) and said that it was the best cover of his song that he'd ever heard. Or, just start off with their cover of Helplessly Hoping that they recorded in a freaking parking lot! Or Elton John's Yellow Brick Road. They are all great listens. Enjoy!

This is my favorite Home Free Song, just too short, have to listen to it at least twice..lol. Perfect 5 part harmony. While I watch you look at tickets, my son bought me and him tickets for the 2020 show which was cancelled and rescheduled twice ( which is why I have to wait for February ) but he bought us tickets that include a meet and greet Q & A before the show. Since Adam Rupp is a Tenor, the voice that drops down to harmonize with Tim is probably Adam Chance the Baritone. But because they are insanely talented and have amazing vocal ranges, one of them can be singing lead one minute and be down supporting bass in the next chord. The part each person sings can change in a heartbeat. But the blend of harmonies is always full and complete. This is a favorite of mine because of the harmonies. Thanks for your reaction

Before the'rona, I was in a 14-piece, Acapella choir. The music director likes to put together small, side groups for single song performances and had asked for song suggestions. I offered this one and he loved it so much that he green lit it and gave me Chance's part. 👍🏽😁 I mostly sing along with Tim, but I can cover Chance, Rob, and some of Austin's parts too; I can do all of Austin's parts if I "allow" myself to go to Falsetto/Head Voice. As a result, I tend to hop around and sing my favorite parts of each song. I was practicing staying with just Chance's part (on my time) to prep when everything was shut down. Eagerly waiting to get back together to see if we can pull this off.

This one is deceptively simple. Absolutely haunting in it's beauty. 5 part harmony at its best. Please check out the LIVE version of 9 to 5! Also, Children Go Where I Send Thee with Kenny Rogers! There's a content from Kenny at the end about how the collaboration came to be. It's great to see your reactions! ❤

Short but so sweet. Shows their harmonies. Their concert tickets aren't too badly priced, except for their VIP 1 and 2 where you get to ask questions and talk to them, etc. before the show but it's so worth it. Get in on a show, they are great!

It's Tim Foust and Adam Chance who shares those bass lines and that final note, you can definelty hear Adam Chance in that bass note. These guys are all so amazing and pitch perfect. But Adam Rupp is a tenor with some range but he's not signing a bass line. I love your reactions.
